Take-out ordered as treat for nursing staff. First of all they "lost" the order so by the time food finally arrived it was way past everyone's lunch break.. Disappointed reactions from all the staff on quality of food. My fries tasted like stale fries that had been microwaved - you know how they go chewy when they're old and reheated? No-one was impressed with the food quality.

We've been to Fins several times over 15 or more years. The ambiance used to be like a quaint sea shanty, with lots of wood and a friendly bar where you could watch people walking up and down Rehoboth Avenue. The bartenders and staff were friendly and accommodating. Our recent visit was a bit of a shock. We went at happy hour, which also happened to be oyster / 1/2 price wine night. It had been renovated and lost the sea shanty ambience, with VERY bright lighting giving it a cold/truck-stop ambience, that was almost off-putting. The bartender stood behind the bar with his hands in his pockets much of the time we were there. We ordered a bottle of wine, which was opened and poured without offering the customary taste. He never offered to refill our glasses for the rest of our meal.We ordered a half pound of steamed shrimp, which were overcooked and dry, difficult to peel, and had very little broth. We were not asked how they were. After removing the remains, he did not ask if we wanted anything else. Finally, I asked if we could order something else, and he replied, 'Well, that's what I'm here for'. We ordered a dozen oysters which were fresh and delicious. We had intended to order more food, but after we finished and the remains were removed, we were again, not asked if we wanted something else. We finally asked for a dessert menu and ordered something to go and the check. The check was presented with no thank you. Normally, I tip on the full amount of discounted items, but the discounted service was not adequate enough, even for the discounted meal, so I further discounted the tip. That was most likely our last meal at Fins. The bartender was clearly intending to make it an unhappy hour (for us anyway)!

Enjoyed happy hour in the upstairs bar. Service was great and fun! Thoroughly enjoyed the food, especially the blackened fish tacos (photo was blurry so not included).

We really enjoy every Fin’s location. Just visited this one for the first time. Great bar atmosphere to sit, eat and have a couple drinks. Dill was our bartender, he is friendly and offers good suggestions. The food is top notch really! A must

The food was excellent, but the service sucked. We were sat, two servers and a bartender chatting away. We were the only ones upstairs at the time with them. Took our server 10 minutes to pull themselves away from their chat to come ask us for our drink order. Unacceptable. Once the drink order was in. Another 10 minute wait for poorly made drinks. I swear the group of servers and bartender just continued their chatting instead of making our drinks. The quality of the food was the only positive about this experience. Plenty of other good spots that care about providing good service. Won't be back.
