Wow. This place is a true gem. Due to how busy they are we had to order our sandwiches the day before we could pick them up. Never waited 24 hours for a sandwich before but this one is absolutely worth it!! The best sandwiches we have ever had. I will be dreaming about it until our next trip!
Hands down the best place to eat in Rohobeth, sandwiches were fantastic from bread to inside filling. Staff were friendly, funny and can guide you to what you need. A must stop. ALSO CALL IN YOUR ORDER wait times happen
Real world Italian and the staff is so nice.

Excellent food. Excellent customer service. We have been told about this place for years. We finally made it up to Delaware and placing a call ahead order was the first thing we did when we made it to town. Can’t wait to pick up our order to take back home with us. Do yourself a favor, call in an order when you’re here in town.

Frank and Louie’s is a mandatory stop when we come up for vacation. Robin is the nicest person and always so pleasant to work with when we order. The food is always delicious. Sadly, they’re no longer the word of mouth, hidden secret. You have to order a day or two in advance but the wait is worth it. you can’t go wrong with this Rehoboth Beach staple!

The best sandwiches and the nicest people in the world. Anyone saying anything to the contrary has an agenda. We love you.

If you hear someone walking down Baltimore Ave in Rehoboth Beach muttering “oh my god… oh my god…” repeatedly, don’t worry – it’s just me eating my Italian sub from Frank & Louie’s.
Frank & Louie’s isn’t just a deli. It’s an institution of culinary joy. We had the Italian and the eggplant cutlet subs, and each bite felt like being hugged by Nonna herself. The bread? Perfection. The meats? Sliced so thin they’d blow away in a summer breeze. The freshness of everything? Off the charts. Honestly, I’m still thinking about my next order, and I haven’t even finished digesting this one.
Plus, you’re greeted by Robin up front, who radiates kindness and world-class service, while Frank and Louie are in the back creating sandwich masterpieces like two culinary Michelangelos. Pro tip: CALL AHEAD. Call a day ahead. Call from your childhood if you have to. Just get your order in. Worth. Every. Single. Bite

Got the Tiny Dancer (mozzarella, tomato, basil) and it was fantastic. Saved half for the next day, and it was even better, as the juices soaked into the bread. The tomato was perfectly in season and salted just right. Picking up more sandwiches when we leave on Saturday!

Best sandwiches at the beach, hands down. Can't go wrong on the menu. Look forward to them opening every year! (Can't forget the butter cakes, wedding cookies, or any other Italian needs you can think of)

I looked this place up on Google maps and directions. Their listing said the store is open. I wasted my time driving here only to find that the store is closed for the season and doesn't open until the middle of March.
I'm new to the area. Someone should be updating their listing. I was a business owner and always kept my hours and listings updated.
UPDATE, After their quick response here I believe that they honestly did not know that the hours were wrong on the maps listing. They get a 5 for their quick response.

We didn’t go today. However, when we do we live it
Louie and his wife Robin are great, hospitable ambassador to their food delights at Frankie and Louie's. I moved from NY where we have great salumerias. I discover a new one at Frankie and Louie's on Baltimore Avenue in Rehoboth, DE. Kudos to them - thanks for satisfying our taste buds. Best regards, John and Jude

What a great place run by friendly and helpful people. This was my first time visiting. This is a cute little walk up joint that serves deli items baked goods, prepared foods and sandwiches, and Italian specialties. I was eyeing up the baked goods and didn't know what to order. I asked if there was a cookie tray option and the owner jumped right in and offered to make me one. Picture of the gorgeous creation is attached. What a sweet lady! Everything is beautiful and tasty. I will be returning to Frank and Louie's for more in the near future! We always love Italian food places.
