Freddie's is a welcoming environment and a fun time..... just dont eat the food. It is awful...among the worst I've had at any restaurant. The drunken clams were disgusting, like I'd rather drink dishsoap. The grilled bread served with the clams was cold. The cauliflower pizza was bland and served cold. It was like they bought a frozen pizza shell, smothered it with the most bland pesto sauce they could buy, then threw raw chunks of tomatoes and mozzarella on. I would never eat here again, just go for the drinks.

My friend and l stopped in one evening while l was in town. We both agreed; it was awesome, clean, friendly staff, wonderful atmosphere.Matt, the bartender was friendly, knowledgeable of the entertainment, food, and of course the wonderful drinks. We actually went back a second evening. It was that good!!!l was so impressed, that l will be checking out the one in Arlington. Which isn't that far from where I live. I'll definitely be back to Freddies in Rehoboth my next visit which will not be that far off!!Thanks!!RB

I was on vacation in Delaware, I am a young Frenchman, I was pleasantly surprised by this bar and by the kindness of Sam, he will undoubtedly recognize me in this commentI'll be back in January, we'll see each other?

A pleasant bar. A friend was visiting so I wanted to take him here. The disappointment was there was a $35 cover charge per person. The money goes to breast cancer research but this was a steep cover charge. Many people left after hearing of the cover charge…if they want to donate to this worthy cause, do it but don’t force patrons to donate. I feel like they lost a lot more money with the many patrons walking out.

First time they’re very disappointing. Our server was very nice . The food I wouldn’t feed to my Dog. And it was simple food the burger was raw. The fries were just loaded with grease and when they bought a new order out it was just as bad. And to live at the shore and advertise a little neck clams that are actually frozen in a package and taste horrible . They need help in the kitchen.

Best karaoke in town. Always a great crowd at the bar, met some really good people there.

My friend asked to use the restroom here and I was waiting outside minding my own business when this guy that I assume runs the place starts talking to me. Didn't really care to interact with him but since he wouldn't stop talking to me I asked him where Above the Dunes was, then he says, "Oh, I guess you want me to tell you huh?" Very passive aggressive, came off like he hates straight women. I had directions on my phone I didn't really need to ask him but since he would not shut up I did and then he could not be polite back. Oh, and my male friend that used the restroom asked the same question and this guy answered and gave him no attitude back. Didn't know this was a gay bar but I'm not surprised given the attitude.

My burger was good. The patty was hand made and nicely seasoned. The fries were fresh and lightly seasoned. My husband had the margarita flatbread, which he liked. It was crisp though he sort of wished the cheese had melted a bit more (it was fine, imo). The waiter was reasonably prompt, though definitely not pushy or hovering. Service undoubtedly has its ups and downs in a vacation town and this guy, while a bit inexperienced, took his job seriously. The settling was meh. We were seated in a lonely table at the edge of the dance floor. We just lacked having a spotlight thrown on us. The Barbie theme was well done. The location is excellent, one block from the beach and next to the center drive.

Didn't try the food. But the host was an absolute sweetheart. Took personal care of us.

great vibe, nice decor, but food is very inconsistent. Every time we go, the staff has changed, as has the menu. Seems like a good place for a few drinks, but get dinner elsewhere.

I did not eat here. The location is right off the main strip. The waiters were good. This does not have the feel of Crystal City. The doll collection is worth looking
