Not sure what has happened but just had my “usual” and it was the worst meal I’ve ever had from a Friendly’s. Turkey Supermelt was okay. No tomato. And my absolute favorite, the chicken quesadilla appetizer was disgusting. Nothing like it has ever been before. Didn’t even taste like the same ingredients. Bland flavor. Barely any chicken. Salsa had a strange flavor to it as well. Guys in the drive thru were rude. Just an overall horrible experience. This is not your father’s Friendly’s.

Update: So I wanted to update this to the fraud that this restaurant has committed. First and foremost let me clarity what I wrote in yesterday’s review. The burger I had order first of all wasn’t fully cooked through and was super thin just as thin as a McDouble patty. Not to mention it tasted freezer burn and really old meat. Also the picture of the burger in the menu wasn’t what I expected.
Second part of that clarification is how dirty the restaurant was. There was black all over the window seals. The ketchup bottle at my table had dirt all over it and was super greasy and nasty. There was dirt on floor under table also. Very unclean.
Now for the fraud part see attach photos. I pay $35.37 for my food. I added a $3 dollar tip to make the total $38.37. I get a updated transaction for a amount in $41.74 so I guess the guy who waited on us though a $3 dollar tip was to low for him and decided he would make his tip $6.37 cents. Guess what buddy I’m disputing it with my bank and not only that will be filing a formal complaint with Friendly’s corporate and possible police report now also. It’s not even about the small amount of the increase but the fraud that you decided to do. I hope no one eats here after this.
This restaurant is a fraud and very dirty and food is absolutely disgusting. If I could give this place zero stars I would!

4 stars mainly because our server (who was also the cook and host, due to being severely short staffed) was amazing! I dont remember his name, but despite having so much on his plate, he was extremely kind and courteous.
The food itself was ok, overpriced for what it was. Seemed pretty dead for a Friday night, the quality seems to have gone down significantly since the last time I've been to a Friendly's some years ago.
This location needs a lot more staffing to help alleviate the responsibilities of one employee. Despite these challenges,our sever really went above and beyond, and made our visit pleasant.

Having lived in Rehoboth for the past 25 years, the time came to move to Florida. On my last trip I visited a few of my favorite places. Had to have a Fribble before I left. When I got there, the store had not opened yet, but a lovely woman Pamela and Diana greeted me and although they were not technically open yet, they greeted me, let me in and made me the most delicious chocolate Fribble. Seldom do you meet people with such hospitality and I greatly appreciated their kindness. Here's to Pamela and Diana! Merry Christmas to you both and your families!

Showed up at 8:46 on a Friday night for ice cream and the man inside saw us walking up and came to the front and locked the door. We knocked and he came out said “we’re closed”. The sign on the door said they were open until 10 on Fridays. When we mentioned this to him he shrugged his shoulders & said “it’s been a slow night so we’re closed”. There was another full car of people that showed up after us that were also turned away. Strange that if it’s a slow night, you’re turning down 2 cars full of customers well before official closing time, especially for a restaurant chain that’s basically extinct.

We ordered a meal and they did not bring what we asked for then proceeded to tell us we ordered something different when we did not. They corrected that and brought out right items. We ordered large ice creams to go and they didn’t put Reese’s pieces on the Reese’s pieces Sunday that we ordered. So we had to ask for those. The second Sunday was supposed to be hot fudge, marshmallow and caramel. There was only hot fudge. As you can see in picture they were not large. We take a trip to rehoboth every year and look forward to our meal at friendlys. After this visit we will no longer be eating here.

They closed 15 minutes early and ignored us when we were at the door. Just wanted to get Carry out ice cream to go and worker inside completely ignored us. Look at us come acknowledge us, and then ignore us. Would give zero stars
