My recent visit to Grandpa Mac's left quite a bit to be desired, largely due to the underwhelming quality of the food and the noticeable disparity between portion size and price.
We started with the Grandpa's Cheeseburger Mac, which, despite its promising name, fell flat. The dish was surprisingly bland, requiring us to add a significant amount of seasoning at home to give it any real flavor. Similarly, the Buffalo Wings lacked the punch and seasoning one would expect, also needing an extra dash of salt and pepper to awaken their taste. The Arugula Salad, while fresh, suffered from the same lack of proper seasoning, making it quite uninspired.
Beyond the taste, the portions were quite small, especially when considering the prices charged. It felt too expensive for the portions received, leaving us feeling that the value for money was not there.
Overall, while the atmosphere might have been pleasant, the food quality and pricing make it difficult to recommend. With more attention to flavor and more reasonable portioning, this could be a much better dining spot.

This is the SPOT. my family and i ordered the chicken alfredo and “the grandpa mac” and it was delicious. unlike other pasta and noodles, this resteraunt has an authentic taste - very nice noodle texture, not too salty but just right. the workers were also amazing. nice service!

The perfect lunch after a morning at the beach! We loved the food, and everyone who worked there was so kind. Very sweet story, and clearly a lot of heart went into the place. One of the owners was delivering the food to tables, and the pride, care and hustle were evident.

We ordered takeout and the food portions were very expensive for very little food. The food was bland hardly any sauce to it. But you could add that for extra$. noodles were a bit dry too. Will not be going back too ! But don't take my word for it, give it a try. You'll find out for yourselves waste of Money.

Was thrilled to see the many vegan options on the menu. I had the build your own pasta with uncheese sauce, onions and vegan Doritos. Sauce did have a weird spice to it.

This was a nice food break on the way to OC. The vegan chicken panini was crispy on the outside and had a good flavor. For a side, we had the vegan pasta salad, which was excellent. The service was friendly, and they knew exactly what was vegan and what wasn’t. We would definitely go back.
