I’m confused as to why I came in and stood there for 30 Minutes before being acknowledged. I literally stood there and watch the bartender (pale thicker girl with black hair) walk past me and my brother several times.. She served a new white couple that sat down. Went up and down the bar asking people if they wanted refills of drinks. The whole 30 minutes she NEVER made eye contact and NEVER spoke. Now.. it’s only fair for me to say this is people we were black. There would be no other reason why you completely ignore people who are at the bar for 30 minutes… Finally another bartender came (orange/ginger hair) asking if we’ve been helped. We told her no, asked a question about a drink and she left and never came back. We waited another 15 minutes to see if she would. If you don’t want to serve EVERYONE regardless of color then don’t be a serving professional. Dear Bartender with the Black hair, you’re wrong and I hope you get a lesson on customer service! Do better! Aloha Dunes has AMAZING service. Get them to train you girl.

Benny makes amazing drinks! I stopped in to have an Orange Crush for the first time & he nailed it!!! He definitely made my experience here at Rehobeth better. I love whiskey Jacks as well because my brother & I used to come here to have a few. He passed away in 2018, so this is a good place to chill, have good drinks & reminisce.
Pizza taste like cardboard, sauce is bitter, and was lukewarm at best. Skip it

Just had to try the famous Grotto. We went there for lunch today for a break from the nearby beach. The table was filthy. Hostess came back to clean it after our request and gave one tiny spritz of a cleaner and wiped half of the table leaving crumbs all over. I used a hand wipe in my purse to try to clean off the rest. Seats were filthy too. We each order two slices and a soda. Waitress was pleasant and attentive. Pizza was dry and overcooked. I question if they use real mozzarella. Not worth all the hype.

This branch of Grotto's Pizza needs a management intervention ASAP. I arrived at 12:30 PM and placed the world's simplest order: Two (2) small cheese pizzas. I gave my name to the Japanese 'servers' (there were 2 of them) and fortunately chose the 'no tip' option. Folks came and went and I waited and waited. After 20 minutes, and many others had come, placed orders and left, I asked where my pies were my order was. They asked my name and there was a vagueness. Then a supervisor showed up and said it would be 3 more minutes and would I like a soda while waiting. I declined and finally got my 2 small pies and took them to the beach and my waiting 8-year old grandsons. I gave them the 2 small boxes and a $10 and told them, when finished, to go back to the same place and get a gelato dessert. They did this, with their mom, and GUESS WHAT??!! The gelato machine more or less blew and sprayed them with product!! This staff is clueless and needs to find another area of employment that does not require customer service.

Honestly, I’ve had this place a couple times before. The pizza is decent. What you would expect from a boardwalk pizza shop. However, the problem with this place is the wait for the food. As I am writing this, I have been waiting for over 45 minutes for a pepperoni pizza. Everyone else had been served. They are overstaffed and have too many people standing around not doing anything. I mean seriously I didn’t ask for anything crazy it’s literally a single pepperoni pizza. I could have kneaded the dough by hand and made it myself by now. Go to any other carry out place in Rehoboth.
