Disappointed...great server, very attentive, Coke was completely flat, she replaced it, Salad was old and musty lettuce, sent it back, pizza is always good. Been coming to this location for over 55 years, Grotto has slipped a long way.

My family and I ate there yesterday while on the boardwalk. The food was disgusting, and way overpriced for what we received. My mother in law and I got salads. They were drenched in dressing and was nothing but lettuce. She ordered a Greek salad and I ordered the steak salad. It was the thinnest slice of steak I’ve ever seen. The cheese steak my father in law ordered was so tiny, it wasn’t even the size of his hand. We were very disappointed in this experience with grotto.

Wouldn’t let us come in with our kids even though we purchased a pizza at outside window (and I told them we would coming in). Then they wanted us to leave stroller unattended out side on the boardwalk. Way too much for pizza and poor service

Prices are exactly the same as they are in other locations far from the shore, which is amazing. No beach gouging whatsoever. Anybody who doesn't like the swirl, which is an interesting combination of Philadelphia and New York style pizzas has either no taste or is lying.
Vegetarian options: No vegan options to my knowledge
Only good thing about these place was the server. At least she was attentive. Good is the worst pizza I ever taste in my life. The “loaded fries” was made with jalapeños from a jar, they were all soggy and the cheese taste like whiz cheese. Avoid these place at all cost.

Our first time to rehoboth beach we decided to try this pizza place. My daughter got a cheesesteak and I got one slice of pizza. The cheesesteak was ok but the pizza was the best I have ever had. The only complaint I have is I have a gluten allergy and they don’t sell by the slice. Very good experience we will be back.

The staff was friendly and prompt but the pizza is just not good. It wasn’t an issue of not being hot and fresh, it’s just not good pizza. It was kind of disappointing because we had seen ads for it everywhere and just didn’t come close to the hype.
