I mean, it's Grotto's the pizza is great! The place is dirty and looking datted, but it's at the beach I guess? Please clean it up and get rid of that nasty smell when you walk in. Like dirty nasty carpet ?

Used to love their pizza but it's pretty basic beach pizza. Nicola Pizza used to be their competition and make a better pizza but they have moved to a much bigger restaurant in Lewes. So eat Grottos if you don't want to drive a couple of miles... it's not bad.

Hostess sat us down and no waiter came to our table. After 5 minutes, we left. Grotto needs to train their employees to work as a team. Host informs waiter they have a table. The waiters here only look at their tables and don’t scan everywhere to see if someone needs service.

Even with the crazy atmosphere dealing with the Polar Bear Plunge weekend, Our server, Meg, was outstanding.
2/3/24 They have really nice food here at a good price. Portion size on the vegetables was okay, but they and the chicken sandwich I got were delicious. Would definitely recommend a visit here.

Came here for a meal w the kids. I haven't been to this location but I've been to grottos a lot at other locations. Restaurant was empty and service was great. Pizza was good like always. It's a bit expensive for what you get tho.

What's not to love about Grotto pizza? It's your classic boardwalk pizza. The restaurant itself is as good as you're going to get in a busy resort town.
Disgusting. Hawaiian pizza and Chicken Cordon Bleu Boli both served cold. Chicken in the chicken boli was canned and tasted like brine. Do not recommend the food. Service was kind and quick.

I have been a lifelong customer of Grotto, until now. We were visiting from PA and I got a pizza to go at this location. Once we got back and started eating, I discovered a long blonde hair intertwined in the toppings and cheese, and another was discovered on another slice. Soooo gross! I lost my appetite and the rest of it went into the trash. I got online and completed the satisfaction survey, messaged the company, and called and left a message early last week I believe. I have heard nothing back. I wanted to request a refund. Very disappointing! I will never eat grotto pizza again.

So i ordered a small diet coke the other day. Teg frickin lid was smaller than the small drink. Every time i held it it fell off. And guess what IT WAS $2.69!
