Can't say enough about this bakery. The owner was extremely kind and accommodating, going out of his way to fill a meaningful order for my family during our vacation. The food was delicious. Highly recommend!

Best bakery at Rehobeth Beach. It's right across from the Brighton Suites Hotel on Wilmington Ave. There are so many selections and the owner is extremely friendly and patient. We have a life-threatening food allergy (peanuts) and he was so helpful.
I ordered strawberry cupcakes, but also had to try the chocolate and vanilla cupcakes. Amazing!! My family had a celebration with cake by the ocean and it was awesome!! As others mentioned, go early. This place is popular and they can run out of their fresh baked goods quickly. Thanks again for the wonderful cupcakes, Kaan's Bakery! :)

Haven’t had a pecan roll this good since Pike Place in Seattle, WA. The pecan roll was still warm, soft on the inside and slightly crunch on the edges with just enough pecans and caramel sweetness. I’m going back every day I’m in Rehoboth.

We've now been to this bakery 4 times (2 times in 2023 and 2 times this week). The croissants are incredible. We tried butter, chocolate, strawberry, spinach and a cinnamon twist. We also had cappuccino. The place opens at 8 am with fresh made goods. If we lived nearby we would frequent. If you're traveling and just visiting then definitely stop in for a treat. The baker is friendly. There are a few seats to sit in and eat or grab some to go. If you get there late then they may be out so just a warning. That's just what happens with fresh baked goods.

Absolutely delicious! I had a white chocolate eclair which was heavenly. He gave it to me on the house because it was a new creation and wanted my feedback which was so sweet. You must go here!

Everything delicious. Chocolate chip cookies best ever. Tiramisu and cheesecake so good. Nice staff. Can’t wait to come back here!

Phenomenal. Proprietor was friendly and patient. We ended up getting a variety of pastries. The pistachio baklava was amazing. The sticky buns were fresh out of the oven, not overly sweet and with a crisp crust with a fluffy bun. Would go back to Rohoboth just for this place.

If you are visiting Rheoboth, you HAVE to visit Kaan's bakery. I have tried many croissants in many cities. The bite I just had of a croissant from Kaan's ($2.95, in 2024) was just the best croissant bite I've ever had. The layers, the buttery flavor, the delicate crust. Just amazing. I'm never going to enjoy another croissant again.

The almond crossaint and chocolate croissant were excellent, and I've been coming back every morning when Kaan opens at 8am to get them. Good coffee as well (expresso and cappucinno). Pleasant friendly service, clean, and low key music, with tables and chairs for sitting by the windows. I have a vegan friend visiting, and asked if they did vegan pastries (that's a reach to be sure) and Kaan said let them know ahead of time and they will work it out. Exceptional.
