Fantastic experience. The service and ambiance were excellent, and the food was amazing. If you're visiting La Fable this summer, I highly recommend the pork! It was out of this world. A must try for a nice dinner out in Rehoboth.

The restaurant provides a unique French atmosphere with excellent service. The bar provides unique and interesting cocktails with a great server. The evening we had dinner our first course of soup was tasty, but came to the table warm rather than hot. Our entrée of scallops in an extremely heavy overpowering sauce. It's a wonderfully unique restaurant in a beach community and we will return.

The menu sounded interesting so we made reservations. The crab soup was divine but I should have stopped there. My husband and I shared one of the seasonal options - bone in pork chops with mushrooms. The pork was over done and the mushrooms looked unappetizing. Unfortunately we've crossed this off our dining list.

The food and service were excellent. The noise level was quite loud unlike other times we have been there. There was one loud party of 4 and it changed the atmosphere from romantic to frat party. We still had a good time.

Great place for French bistro food in Rehoboth Beach. Welcoming, white table cloth, excellent service, daily specials in addition to the standard menu. Pricey, but worth it. Noise level is high, but I prefer that to quiet or background music. Food was wonderful. Just go!

La fable is fantastic all around. To start with the staff is very nice and polite. The food is delicious. The ambience, relaxing and romantic. We spent our 30th anniversary there and had a wonderful experience.

We have been coming to Fable for years and this had been one of our favorite dining spots. We were beyond disappointed this week. Our entrees were underwhelming. The lobster gnocchi was an abomination. Dense dumplings , heavy / uninspired sauce ... an overall failed dish. The poulet cordon blue was dry and barely warm when served. There were a few highlights such as the seafood chowder which was delicious as was the fois gras torchon paired with the sauternes. However, this time the escargot were rubbery with a cold center despite being served on a sizzling plate . Not sure we will venture there again which is a shame
My third visit to this consistent restaurant. Our food was great as always the wine list is well chosen and priced. It was our first time in season and the servers did not miss a beat with a full room and the usual great service. The table was properly mised for the food that was ordered and our two different wines were attentively poured in just the appropriately amounts. Jodi and the rest of the servers treat you like your home.

The best dining experience I've had in Rehoboth. A beach town I've frequented for over twenty years. I can't believe it has taken me this long to discover La Fable. The food was exceptional and the staff were knowledgeable and welcoming. I will be back next year, and will encourage others to dine here in the meantime!

The food is flavorful and creative, but I wish there were more of a balance in that it is uniformly quite rich. Our server was superb, however, and the setting, while not ideal as a kind of English basement situation is nonetheless attractive.

I have dined at La Fable several times and brought my family for my daughter's birthday on Saturday June 20th. We all ordered the Cordon Bleu and because we all had apps and bread ended up taking most of our meals home. Sunday my daughter texted with a video of her leftovers and the chicken was raw, and I mean not under cooked it was raw. I spent 30 years in the restaurant business and would never leave a bad review but that is unacceptable I feel the kitchen and the servers should be vigilant not to let this happen again.
