Mariachi Restaurant

I have been coming to Mariachi’s for years and referred many people there. Last night a group of 5 of us came for dinner. The waiter was extremely rude, rolled his eyes at us because we weren’t ready to order, snapped at us for asking a duplicate question and snatched our credit cards from our hand. One person had a gift card and he snatched that and stomped away. Four of us ordered the skirt steak which is always delicious. It was tough, stringy and really not worthy of eating. In the past, each dish came with a serving of beans. We received on bowl of pinto beans and one bowl of black beans for five people placed in the middle of the table. Most of us left the steak on our plate. I told the waiter that the steak was tough and was told you should have said something earlier. My entree and two drinks was $60. There prices have skyrocketed and their food has suffered. I don’t know if there’s a new owner but I will say they lost 5 valuable customers because we will never come back and I will let others know how disrespectfully we were treated!

We enjoyed a midweek, mid October dinner meal here and found the food to be okay. Upscaled "Mexican". I had the plantain and bean burrito and enjoyed it. My elderly father wanted just one taco and the waiter accommodated him with one taco easily and without pushback. Mom got a quesadilla and it was no great shakes; it was fine. Service was fast and professional. The food was good overall.

The food is thoughtfully and well prepared. One of the best meal I have every had in Rehoboth Beach.

We asked a couple of waiters to move from our table after we sat down to a table we liked overlooking outside, they said yes then cleaned that table and moved us. Then we waited for someone to take our orders but no one came. Shortly after the hostess came back and asked us to get up and move from the table to seat another group. I have never experienced that. Terrible service and very humiliating. I requested to speak to a manager but they said there was no manager present. We left.

Staff was so sweet with our kid, got a great table on the upstairs deck with a view, and the food was good too. I got the paella, my baby enjoyed the guacamole so much she left wearing a lot of it.

Always dependably good Mexican food with pleasant and efficient service. Even at the peak of the summer they somehow manage to deal with the crowds.

From Soupa de Lima to Mojito's, the finest, tastiest food in Rehoboth Beach. We have been coming to this restaurant for years and it has NEVER disappointed!

We sat upstairs, outside which was very pleasant. They start you off with chips and salsa. We both had the coconut margarita which were very good. For dinner, I highly recommend the seafood enchiladas! My husband didn't remember what he had but he also really enjoyed it. They have a variety of Mexican dishes, some you probably haven't tried before! 😋

The service was very good. The food was VERY tasty. And portions were big. I used the rest next day in lunch.
