“Hands-down, the best Mexican restaurant in Beach beach. The staff is super friendly, the food comes out quickly and hot.

I usually get the grande sampler. I love their tacos barachos (drunk tacos)con chorizo.

The fajitas are also awesomely delicious.“

“We just happen to pick this place for lunch and so glad we did! The food is fabulous...have never had Mexican food that was so amazing I had the Chicken Tinga Dilla (quesadilla) and my guy Ed had the Beef Shorty Dilla. Both were delicious and my margarita was the best I had from Bethany to Rehoboth. The service from entire staff was great...but we really loved Charles...so much that we went back the next day to have the food again before we came back to Pittsburgh. We will be back!“

“Well-flavored and quickly served food in a fun and open space. I appreciated greatly as a vegan that the menu has a dedicated vegetarian section. The portabello fajitas I got were dairy-free which was another plus. The rice and beans served with the fajitas were not super warm, so that was a little frustrating considering the $26 price basically just for vegetables. Still, the veggie fajitas themselves were very well-seasoned and fresh. My only other note is that the margaritas were pretty pricey and not all that strong; tasted great but didn’t pack a bunch. Overall I recommend though because of the attentive service and great flavor!“

“Flavors, textures, cooking technique better than a 5 Star restaurant. Everything on the menu is Amazing. Their homemade sauces are like nothing I have ever tasted before and I am quite the Foodie! My favorite is the Thai Chili Shrimp Taco, I can't order tacos from anywhere else. They truly have spoiled me. The owners are wonderful people and talented chefs! I purposely drive to Rehoboth to do my grocery shopping so I can order dinner once a week from First State!!! It is a must Go-To!!!“

“Went there this past Wednesday 10 mins before close and the guy behind the counter made me the biggest most fire burrito I've ever had in my life. That thing lasted me 2 days. I don't know what his name was but his name tag should say tortilla king. I'll def be coming back. Also shoutout to the guy who got salsa for me even though they'd been put away 🫡“

“Been here last year when it first opened loved it then with the opening crew and now this summer 2025 they added so many new items on the menu !!! The options on the menu are delicious and authentic Mexican food REAL street tacos. Great touch for the boardwalk“

“My husband and I went last night and everything about the meal was amazing. The food was incredible. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were so friendly and attentive. I had the white sangria and my husband had a margarita and both were perfect drinks (and my husband is not a margarita guy 😂.). We will definitely be back.“
