Mission bbq was a hit at my wedding and I continue to receive compliments on how delicious their meal was! Great food and service.for a chain restaurant I was really impressed..we got a pulled chicken sandwich, a smoked cheese burger which was cooked perfectly medium rare.great Mac and cheese.great fries and Mississippi mud pie for dessert.. I will be back

The Rehoboth Beach Mission BBQ team went above and beyond to accommodate my partner's garlic allergy, which makes it nearly impossible to dine in American restaurants. Many of the menu items are prepared with garlic, but the awesome staff were able to identify a few meats where they could remove the outer layer, and two sauces that did not contain garlic. They checked on us several times and offered to make the salmon and a few other items without garlic next time if we called ahead. Wow!

Friendly staff, fresh BBQ, and clean. Great place to bring the family.

Very happy with the experience here. Went in at 11:58 am to get lunch and experienced the noon playing of the National Anthem, which was done with a great deal of care and reverence. I didn't know about that, and I was glad to be there for it.

Food is excellent. Terrific value for the price, great portion sizes of quality BBQ. I had the brisket sandwich, but got a bunch of sides (green beans, collard greens, baked beans, and Cole slaw, as well as cornbread) and all were outstanding.

When we got back to our house to eat, the rest of our family smelled and tasted the food, and then insisted we get it for dinner. Next day leftovers were even better. (Get the pulled pork, save some, make nachos tomorrow. You're welcome.)

The service was even better. Even while busy, they were friendly. One error was made and they immediately made it right. Will absolutely return.

Excellent food large portions for reasonable prices. Employees are always friendly and helpful. Seems like a great place to work. I always get the pulled pork sandwich and potato salad. Tried the corn on the cob for the first time and was thrilled. It was delicious perfectly cooked and buttered perfectly.

I can’t say enough good things about our recent visit to Mission BBQ! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of the delicious aroma of authentic American barbecue.

The brisket was the absolute star of the meal—perfectly smoked, tender, and packed with flavor. It practically melted in my mouth. Every bite felt like a celebration of classic BBQ done right.

What really made our visit stand out, though, was the outstanding service. We came in as a group of six, and the staff went above and beyond by providing us with a different menu tailored to our group, which made things so easy and accommodating. It’s rare to see that level of thoughtfulness these days, and it didn’t go unnoticed.

And as a fantastic surprise, with our meal, we were gifted a free bottle of their signature barbecue sauce—an incredible touch that we’ll definitely be enjoying at home. It’s those kinds of details that turn a good dining experience into a great one.

Whether you're a BBQ fanatic or just looking for a great place to eat with friends or family, Mission BBQ is a must-visit. We’ll absolutely be back again on our next vacation to Maryland.

I don't write a ton of reviews, but I just have to express how incredible our visit was today. I came with my family while we're on vacation for a quick, delicious lunch. The food was so so good, but the service was even better. We talked to one of the staff members Dwayne for a while and he made us feel like family.
Dwayne shared pieces of his story with us as a veteran and all the amazing work Mission BBQ does for veterans. Truly inspiring, special experience! We will absolutely be back!!!

Walked in and it was nice and cool. Low volume atmosphere. Clean presenting establishment. The counter girl was very nice and served with a smile. The runners were hard at work and the server was very professional and nice when calling us for our order. The food was nice and hot and tasted great! I would visit again.

Second time here and we will be back when we are in town. We love the Brisket and Pulled Pork! I feel like I am at a Mom & Pop BBQ restaurant not a chain. In addition to the meats being great the staff is super friendly and when you get your food they go over everything to make sure it is correct. Keep up the good work.
