The atmosphere is great, relaxing and friendly. You can tell there are regulars and the people know each other. We went for lunch. The food was not the best. The blackened chicken wrap had very little flavor and the dressing was bland and boring. The fish and chips were ok, nothing to write home about. We ordered a side of coleslaw to go with the fish and chips which was a no show until we asked for it after we had our food for a while. The oyster tacos were the best thing we got. They had good flavor and were nice and crispy. Aside from the food being so so, the service was horrible. I spent most of my meal without a drink. I asked for a water refill multiple times and didn’t receive it. She was frequently near our table and still didn’t refill my water. It sucks to eat a meal without a drink.

Allie our server was fantastic. Crab cake sandwich came out BURNT and bitter from the burned crab. Sent it back to be remade. Sandwich returned cold, with only the burnt items being removed. Husband's turkey burger mushy with a burnt bun. Don't know what is going on with the kitchen.... first and last time here for food.

The bartender was completely rude and served me a drink that was close to being poison. He claimed that it was fresh peppers and it was ok. The pepper was so strong that my lips and mouth were burning. I had to negotiate with him for a new drink that was consumable.

When we arrived at Rehoboth Beach on Saturday evening, we parked next to Obie’s by the Sea but weren’t quite sure if it was okay to park there. I went inside to ask, and the guy in the yellow T-shirt standing with the host was incredibly helpful and friendly. Thanks to his kindness, we decided to stay and have dinner at Obie’s.
Located right on the boardwalk, the atmosphere was superb. We ordered the lump crab cake and loaded crab fries. The crab cake was fantastic — no fillers, just quality lump meat. And the fries? Perfectly crispy, flavorful, and impressively stayed crispy until the very last bite — no soggy fries here! Highly recommend!

The Manager Luke had outstanding service by providing us all of their condiments offered. Had no wait at all and it was an excellent experience. Luke also stopped by our table to make sure we were doing okay and that we were getting efficient service. Definitely will be coming back to Obies after tonight and hope to come back for a lifetime.
