This restaurant is extraordinary. Our meal was one of the finest I have ever experienced. The caviar was stunning, as were the fois gras, soup, entrees, and dessert. To top everything off, the selection of vodka was brilliant. Hats off to the owner/chef/hostess for providing excellent advice and guidance. Bring your appetite!
A true dining experience and foodie destination!!!! The owner explains every dish, every drink, and all the caviar. BONUS: No SYSCO foods were used.
We always have a wonderful evening at Red Square Caviar Bar. Victoria and her son Phillip are quintessential hosts and welcome us as guests in their own home. The menu is small, unique and delicious.... we always start with the tzars pizza. I had been thinking about the beef stroganoff all week as it is my favorite and Mike had the Kulebiaka which is delicious. Oh, and Phillip recommended a fantastic Russian Vodka martini (shaken NOT stirred) which was well worth the extra cost. Red Square is a feast for all senses and reservations are absolutely required.
My husband and I were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and we couldn't believe that we were having such an authentic experience in Russian cuisine and culture in Rehoboth Beach, DE. We made the right choice of taking the recommendations of food and drinks from the owner and her son. We ate and drank like royalty! I have not been able to get the night out of my mind!
Have eaten here before and the food is authentic and absolutely delicious. If you have a hankering for a taste of delicious Russian food, book now! While the food is great, they're really known for their caviar and vodka selection. The vodka tasting is not to be missed! Just be ready for a lot of storytelling and 'instruction' by the founder/owner. She's wonderful but you do need to be ready to hear how to eat the blini-- she will even fix the first ones for you to show you how its done.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our first experience at Red Square. Victoria makes you feel like family as soon as you walk in. She does an excellent job explaining the menu and is passionate about the authentic cuisine and fabulous vodka selection. Her recommendations were perfect. The atmosphere is phenomenal and you get the attention you need because they don't overbook. Highly recommended.
I have no perfect words except absolutely amazing!! My wife and family went here for our wedding dinner. Victoria and her family are wonderful people and they were the perfect finale for our perfect day. Thank you all and we look forward to our next visit.

Looks like a romantic little place from the outside. The night we went it was very quiet, only two other tables. The food was good but quite overpriced for what we got. The borscht and pelmeni were outstanding. The caviar seemed smaller than the 1/2 ounce on the menu and was served with thin cold blini and melted butter which I did not care for. Chicken Kiev and Foie gras were pretty good. Martinis were good and very cold; but for all the talk about the "200 kinds of vodka" they had behind the bar, no mention of what vodka was in them. All the martinis were with a fruit or a juice base. I wanted a plain martini but none was listed and I couldn't understand the answer of "It would be too strong" The drink was $25 and though large and cold I would have preferred one not diluted with pickle or grapefruit juice. I appreciated that the owner came to the table to explain the food, but I thought she was quite overbearing and somewhat condescending. She approached us as though we knew absolutely nothing about the food being served. This is a restaurant where you are going to spend around $400.00 for a meal for two so I imagine most people going there are food-educated and not just stumbling off the street after a day at the beach. I would go back next time I'm in the area but would skip the caviar and stick with the borscht and pelmeni.
Thank you Victoria! It's an experience like none other. A chef's table experience and immersion. With amazing Russian food, caviar and vodka throughout, and Victoria explained every detail and menu choice down to the Russian China. We will be back... again. Thank you so much for the experience and lovely service! Delicious!
What I love most as a vodka drinker is the unique fine vodkas that you can get in any random liquor stores in the area. Philip the friendly bartender mixed me up some excellent vodka drinks that went down smooth and truly unique. Red Square is a gem, a must try for the finer things in life.

I have dined at restaurants all across the price spectrum and from every cuisine in the world. This is hands down one of the best dining experiences I've had to date.
There's two things that really determine if this restaurant is for you:
1. The food is pricy. There is no way around that. The entrees are $55. Desserts sit at $25. Caviar and the like runs over $125. Cocktails are $25.
2. This is not meant for a get in and get out dining experience. We dined for 3 hours and ordered all the courses, but I would caution you away if you're not willing to be sociable and ask questions.
If you accept the first two conditions you are in for the time of your life.
Victoria, the owner and host of the evening, accommodated my group of 5 guys. She only seats 8 people for the entire evening, and we had the restaurant all to ourselves for the evening. She's an incredible woman.
I'm obsessed with food, food history and the like, and Victoria walked us through everything we ordered, the origins of each dish, and how to eat everything.
I'm sober, but my buddies said the vodka and cocktails were incredible. My buddy ordered a vodka flight and I was fascinated by Victoria's explanation of the distilling process of Vodka.
We did the smallest order of Caviar (it's too rich for my blood), but I wanted to taste. It was unlike anything I had tasted and I was impressed.
We also ordered some Foie Gras Mousse which was delicious. There was enough for a bite of each for everyone at the table, which was lovely.
I can confidently say the Borscht I ordered is the best soup (which I can now understand why Victoria says it's not really even a soup) I've eaten. It's rich and delicious. My buddy who hates soup ordered it on a whim and was blown away.
The Entrees were all stellar. The Satsivy I ordered was an excellent take on a duck dish. It was rich and vibrant, complemented with dates and pickled carrots. I will be ordering the Pelmeni next time because I tried my friend's and it was incredible.
We concluded with Napoleon for dessert, which was amazing. It reminded me of a crepe mixed with Bakalva, flaky and creamy.
The food was delicious, Victoria and her son Felipe were the peak of hospitality. I hope I get the privilege of dining here again.

Overall, my dinner date with my wife at Red Square was an enjoyable evening. What I would tell anyone planing on making a reservation at Red Square; there are a few things that need to be understood. First, plan on having a 2-3 hour dinning experience. Your expectations need to treat this dinner as if you were spending alot of money for Broadway tickets or an NFL game. It will be expensive for the full service to include caviar, vodka, martinis, appetizers, and main entrees. The food and service was top notch. I would recommend this restaurant for a special night out.

The employers have a rude way of communicating to patrons. Victoria, who seems to be an owner/manager/employee of the restaurant, would not allow my sister to use the restroom even though this is a public place of accommodation. You have to make a reservation in order to use the restroom. When kindly mentioning the fact that this is a public place of accommodation, she became combative and said “sue me”. She should have at least have been kind about turning down the use of a restroom. I would say that this is not a friendly atmosphere.

This was an absolutely amazing restaurant! The food was all homemade and vodka martinis were delicious. I have traveled all over the country and have eaten in some well known restaurants and this is one of the best. I would highly recommend trying it when you are in Rehoboth!
