Surprisingly, we just found Surf Bagel today, and I'm not sure why we hadn't stopped by sooner! We got a pizza bagel, chicken salad, scallion cream cheese, and a garlic and Old Bay bagels. Bagels are the perfect texture of soft (not doughy), but with a very slight crisp crunch, and the flavors are on point. The atmosphere of this establishment is very happy. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, eager to assist, always busy doing something and not standing around playing on cell phones. Very fast ordering process and preparation of your "meal". I will definitely be back!

I understand it’s basic food, the timing was fine- the food was gross, greasy and tough to eat.. Went to the Lewes location yesterday and thought it’d be good but nope all bad! LOL completely wrong. MIDWAY is 100x worse, challenged high school kids on the front of the house, with white women on their phones trying to look busy as managers - looks like a clown show. SODEL FAIL

2nd visit this month to Surf Bagel Mudway. Both times, the person taking order was challenged. Took 15 minutes to get 2 cheesesteaks! And then it wasn't even right (happened last time as well) She forgot our bagels too. We will never go back there again!!! Note: Surf Bagel Lewes - you rock!
Ordered a bagel with cream cheese and a grilled cheese, both of which were good, but the service was cold and impersonal. It just wasn't consistent with the service that I've received elsewhere in Rehoboth.

Since the turnover of ownership, the quality of the bagels are significantly diminished. The bagels have a “dense and tough” texture and are dry when compared with years past. It’s a shame ownership has placed quantity and cost savings over quality. They’ve ruined a quality product and a beach staple.
