If I write that it is the best coffee in Rehoboth, it is something very personal. But what you can't miss is having breakfast in a place where when you enter you are greeted with a huge smile and the treatment is familiar. A place where you are happy having breakfast. Thank you and for many more ZAVA CAFE in DE.

If you have not tried Zava, you are missing out on freshly crafted delicacies. The atmosphere was outstanding, as we got to watch the chef's cook our food. The service, impeccable. Our waitress was super personable, and had great recommendations. Truly what waiting/waitressing is all about. I can easily say when I took the first bite of my sandwich, I was in heaven. I never had such a well balanced breakfast sandwich from anyplace ever before. This spot is outstanding, and those working, thank you for the exceptional experience.

We just had lunch here and it was beyond horrible. Both of us had chicken salad sandwiches. There was maybe a tablespoon of chicken salad on each sandwich. No flavor at all. And it all got soaked up by the bun, so it was like eating a lettuce and tomato sandwich with a little bit of chopped apples and celery on top. The fries were uncooked. Raw! The waitress apologized and took $1.50 off the bill. Oh, and we waited close to 30 minutes for this, even though there were only 2 other parties in the restaurant. And they need a better ventilation system bc now my clothes stink like restaurant exhaust. The waitress kept saying that they just opened and need time to straighten things out. Shouldn’t that have been done prior to opening??

We were excited about having a new lunch spot, but unfortunately it was a major disappointment. We ordered chicken salad sandwiches with fries. After waiting about 30 minutes our food came. The fries were uncooked and very greasy. (Our server voluntarily deducted $1.50 for the fries). The chicken salad sandwiches were extremely skimpy (maybe 2 tablespoons of minced chicken salad that was heavy on the mayo). Our server was pleasant and apologized numerous times and told that they are still working things out. It seems to me that things like this should be worked out before opening to the public.

Unbelievable! A HIDDEN GEM cafe right in Rehoboth Beach off the avenue. Coffee, smoothies, crafted juices, teas, breakfast, lunch. The decor is unparalleled for any restaurant in Rehoboth Beach. The service was beyond compare. I had a salad and cappuccino, it was 10 stars. If you're looking for a cafe in Rehoboth Beach to enjoy a great drink and some awesome food, this is definitely it.

I was with my friends and we were greeted by this lady who was opening up shop. She opened it early and said to come in promising a “banging breakfast” This by far was the best breakfast We have ever had and the vibe was amazing. We felt very cozy and they played soothing music allowing us to feel a home.

My son and I stopped in on our sunrise walk when we saw they were open early. A nice atmosphere, top-notch friendly service, and tasty cappuccino and (spiced) hot chocolate. Really good - we'll be back for food sometime!

Twice now I have had breakfast at Zava cafe and my last experience compelled me to write this review. First off the food is fresh and very good. I have had the Denver omelet each time I have eaten at Zava and it has been fantastic. The ingredients are fresh and the taste of everything is top notch. Now for the service. This last time Preston greeted us before the door could shut behind us. A big warm friendly welcome. It did not end there. The level of service throughout our meal was about as welcomed as I have ever felt in a restaurant. We were treated so well and the food was so good I will make it a point of coming back more frequently. I told my wife when we left that Preston restored my faith in humanity. A bold statement but let me be clear. Preston has an amazing positive energy that fills a room. His energy made my experience memorable and left me feeling joyful the rest of the day. Happy Holidays to you and the family Preston.

I LOVED this little breakfast spot --- the food is simple (in the best of ways), and delicious, and I love the ambiance. I think the owner nailed the decor, overall feel, food, and authentic cuisine. Also, they grind their own special coffee...it's the best coffee I can find in Rehoboth! I highly recommend!

In town for the weekend and went here for Sunday breakfast. The menu is small, but very good. The meals were simple, well balanced, and prepared with detail and care.
