Taste of New York Smyrna

Came here with my frat boys and we had a wonderful time! The chef at the frat house is a bum and always puts spiders and laundry chemicals in our food and we wanted to try something new. We came here and I got jerked chicken and mashed potatoes, my friend Dillon got the French fries he’s a basic boy, Matt and Adam got tacos and split em. The server was really friendly and polite we definitely will be returning for more quality food and service! No booths here sadly mostly tables. We only sit at booth and they have a few half booth half tables so we settled for that.

The atmosphere was amazing.The waitress was absolutely. awesome. we would definitely recommend the music with dinna, what's awesome.we would definitely be back oh and the drinks were absolutely awesome. also, looking forward to salsa night in july.

Had an amazing time, music was on point. Bus trip from NY with dinner included.

My mother and I went to this restaurant. Nice atmosphere. The new waitress mistakenly gave my mom a cracked glass of water. My mother almost swallowed a piece of glass but she wined up catching the glass on her lip. When she pulled it off her lip it cut her finger. Blood everywhere. We asked for a first aid kit. They didn’t have one. My mom anxiety was through the roof. They apologized multiple times and took my mother’s entire meal off the bill. After my mom calmed down with the help of the bartender Tasha. We were semi okay. I hope this mistake never happens again. Could have been Very serious if my mother would have swallowed glass.

Stumbled upon this little gem by chance on Valentine's day. Glad we did. We had a ball. Service was awesome. Very friendly, food was delicious. It was just a whole vibe all the way around. Music was everything I love. Couldn't have asked for a better time.

What a great semi-hidden gem! I got the stuffed mushrooms and the spinach dip. Both dishes and my margarita were yummy! The service was outstanding. Very positive welcoming atmosphere🙂

Delicious food and Amazing people starting with the Owner, cook, waitress and the DJ. Highly recommend!!!

A friend and I were talking about trying a new restaurant in the area so we found, Taste of New York Smyrna. We car pool there and let’s be clear we were coming from Newark Delaware, excited about the new spot we were going to try but wasn’t able to because they were closed. Meanwhile, the hours shown was not accurate! I was so upset ?. No word (sign on the door) of why the business was closed. Another car pulled up, having the same look ? like why aren’t they open. SMH ?? now the question is will we try to visit again, probably not….

Very nice place I went there for a fish fry the food was delicious I brought a can soda that cost me $4 I thought that was too high but outside of that very nice place

I’d recently moved down here and drive by this place everyday, so I was always curious as to how their food tasted. I finally got a chance to try them recently. Came in with my mother for dinner and there were a few people in there, so not busy. Great!! First off the music, while good, is a little on the loud side…no biggie as we were still able to converse with each other. The server was nice, had a pleasant attitude and was very attentive, always making sure we were fine with everything. Love that!! However, it takes way too long for food and drinks to appear. Waited almost 30 minutes for 3 tacos and 2 orders of jerked chicken (one with rice and beans, the other just chicken). The tacos were okay and my chicken was okay. It wasn’t the spicy jerk I’m used to but it was still flavorful. Unfortunately it wasn’t cooked all the way through…talk about heartbroken. I will try them once again because I’d love supporting small businesses.

Recently visited A Taste of New York and thoroughly enjoyed the food and vibe. The service was the best part. I will surely visit again when I am in the Smyrna Delaware area.
