Añejo Mexican Grill & Tequila Bar

This was the second time I came here in the last 6 months. First time, the experience was great. I came during a very busy time and everything was exceptional. This time, I came at 7:30pm on a Saturday evening and there was just one person at the bar. The bartender was too busy socializing with her co-worker. I ordered a jalapeño margarita and there were no jalapeños in the drink. The stuffed peppers were horrible. When I told her that, she said “I’m sorry” and continued socializing with her co-worker and other customer at the bar. Sad to say, I won’t be back.

Great food... the best Mahi tacos. If you're there on a crowded night the waitstaff absolutely hustles, never a wait. The space is small, go early if you want to sit at a table on a night there is music.

Update 12/23/24... STILL love this place. I just wish it was bigger!

Really cool neighborhood, kitchy vibe. Great young people spot. We were part of a meet up for out of town wedding guests...great pick by the bride and groom

Went back for drinks an we picked the right spot. We had Mezcal, Tequila, and a couple of beers. Staff was friendly and treated us well. Great variety of people here too!

This was our first visit. Every staff member we encountered were friendly and welcoming. The empañadas were delicious ! Our server Matt was amazing. He truly put this place high on our list. The price point was a pleasant surprise for the quality of the food and cocktails. A gem to find for national margarita day!

George holds it down behind the bar. Truly commendable service, the margarita was almost equal in quality to the service itself but it's difficult to exceed George's positive disposition. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
