Clean, tasty rolls made quickly. 🍣 Seaweed salad was good, not over dressed.

They have several vegan options: miso soup, vegan sushi and vegan gyozas. The food is ok given this is a food court place and it is also cheap.

Al Chu’s Sushi, located inside the DECO food hall in Wilmington, has quickly become my favorite spot for sushi. The quality is consistently excellent — the food is always fresh, and the service is always great.

I especially recommend Al’s Signature Roll (fried shrimp, avocado, spicy mayo, crab stick, and eel sauce) — it’s packed with flavor and perfectly balanced. The California Sweet Dream is another favorite: a California roll topped with baked shrimp and crab stick, finished with spicy mayo. It’s as delicious as it sounds.

Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or looking for something satisfying and fresh, Al Chu’s never disappoints. Highly recommend!

Love the Poke Bowl here!

Fresh ingredients, generous portion, consistent quality. Best Poke bowl you can have in the city.

I popped in for a quick bite when traveling for work and the deco rolls were amazing and the owners were very friendly.

I ordered the Al’s signature role (top left), california sweet dream (top right), california roll and a spicy tuna roll. I loved the sushi and loved the meal. It tasted amazing and would highly recommend their Signature and california sweet dream. So happy to have found this place :) You should definitely try their sushi if you’re looking for a sushi spot!

After the disappointment of Rebel Ramen being closed, a wonderful meal was still found at Al Chu's sushi. The menu had a nice selection of rolls. I went with my favorite, a Philly roll (I'm a sucker for salmon with cream cheese).

It took a small while to receive our order, as the sushi was rolled fresh to order. I didn't mind one bit.

When we received our order, the fish was plump and seemed nice and fresh. The avocados were in the right ripeness, and the eel sauce was great. My only nitpick was that the serving cup they put soy sauce in was too small to dip a roll in, so we trickled some on top, and the menus needed a fresh printing, as some of the printing was a tad worn and hard to read.

I had no idea this place existed until I was craving sushi one night. I will definitely go back since my sushi was good. I also got dumplings and spring rolls and they were delicious too!
