Really nice place for breakfast or lunch. 3rd generation running a nice place to get a local meal.

Really good home cooked food. Always liked this place. Service was great and prices reasonable. I will be back!

Laid back neighborhood spot. Was working up the street and spent enough time coming to where they would have an egg sandwich on long roll, an grilled muffin with butter and 2 coffees waiting. Friendly faces, cops and firemen locals and lots of Elvis lives is inside here

This was an awesome little gem to find, while we were in the area, food was good and came out quick, staff was very friendly. I would definitely return here if we found ourselves in the area again.

First of all the staff ( super friendly and helpful) Angelo's son now runs it and has been at the cafe over 50+ years. Now the food, it was very good, not great or outstanding but very tasty and cooked well. I thought the portion size was a little light, but I am a big eater. Have I had better breakfasts "Yes" but that is not what this place is about, it is about getting a reasonable priced breakfast that tastes good and make from good products in a super almost family atmosphere, oh and by the way you are family when you eat in here.. enjoy..

Great family owned local neighborhood eatery for the past 52 years!!

Hidden gem here in Wilmington. We had French toast, pancakes, eggs, home fries and bacon. Really great service, home cooked delicious breakfast, no complaints... looking forward to visiting again!!!

My husband and I love this place! Great food, always friendly staff. Our favorite Saturday morning tradition lately has been to walk to it and enjoy a great breakfast! HIGHLY recommend this place if you’re looking for that cozy, comfort food experience

We came here for the first time recently and gave decided this is going to be our go to breakfast joint. The prices are great, the staff is so friendly, and the food and coffee are great!

Sooooo this is a weird review because I didn't actually eat there however, I did meet some buddies there that did. I write this review as a testament to the local-ness and family type atmosphere this is. My buddies enjoyed their diner like breakfast, eggs and toast and bacon. The owner and staff make this place worth reviewing, even though I didn't eat there.

Good food and friendly service!

Angelos has been there since I was a kid, friends would grab drinks and a breakfast before getting on the bus for school! They are always delicious no matter what you get, and always friendly service with a smile. I don't go here often enough, but I cherish the moments that I do! I like getting the scrapple egg and cheese on a bagel, since I usually have to run out right after! There is always a crowd in the morning with regulars, but that's when you know it's good.

I love this cozy spot. Great folks, great conversation...great food!!! I got the turkey club with fries. Simple but just what I needed & I loved sitting at the counter talking with everyone all around!!! Not many places like this in DE. But there's something about being able to talk to complete strangers & feeling perfectly fine doing so!!! If you're in the area check it out!!!

I write this review as a testament to the local-ness and family type atmosphere this is. My buddies enjoyed their diner like breakfast, eggs and toast and bacon. The owner and staff make this place worth reviewing, even though I didn't eat there. The owner has been the same owner for the past ~50+ years and is truly a pillar of his community. It's the type of place you read about where this diner has been the hub of the community forever and everyone in the diner has been going for years and welcomes you in like family. I didn't even eat and I enjoyed this place to write a review!

Quaint little neighborhood restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch. Don't expect a modern facility. This restaurant will take you back in time where the server and cooks are all in the open and very friendly and service minded. Sit at the bar and chat away like you'd imagine it was done 40+ years ago. Food is cooked with love and it was such a cool experience. Try it out at least once to experience something different.

Like a cozy delicious time warp. Love it!

Great food, low price, fast and friendly service. I got the french toast, bacon, and a hamburger.

Lewis Richerson

Both the food and atmosphere are incredible! The only thing that exceeds the greatness of the food is the hospitality of the owner and wait staff.

Dwight Holden

Good food, great service❤

Nice, homey place. Clean and stuffed with old timey stuff. Good breakfast. I'll be back.

Saw this place on Google, and decided to try it out. Great find! It is a throwback to the 60's. Family owned for over 50 years. Friendly service and neighborhood customers. Will definitely return when I'm in the area!

Chris Austin

Quaint little breakfast/lunch place. Friendly service and okay food. Lots of bar seating and a couple booths.

Yelp asks "Is this place divey?" Tough question. If I answer "yes", will people think it's a greasy spoon with a layer of filth covering everything? If I answer "no", will people think it lacks charm? Look, this place is awesome. Good people, great atmosphere and good food. What more do you want?

Cannot say enough positive things about our experience at Angelos. We're on a road trip around the US and we try the iconic food of each state as we travel around. Scrapple was the food to try in Delaware and we are so grateful that Angelo's Luncheonette was the recommendation that popped up for us. Our kids have claimed it as their favorite food stop in the US. The service was unparalleled. Seriously the best staff that made our morning. Even the other customers were some of the friendliest and kindest people we've met in our travels. As we drove away they were waving through the window. It felt like a wonderful morning with family. Thanks so much Angelo's Luncheonette!!

Great stop for lunch and usually quick service. Muzzi makes it fun and the breakfast is always great on the weekend. A real diner feel.

Richard Stubbs

Owner and his women staff couldn't have been nicer or more engaging. Told good stories too. Really enjoyed my cheesesteak omlet.

Great Food - Personal service...

Christopher Wright

Wonderful people that do what they do to make new friends. We enjoy the food too, but the people and atmosphere are what keep us coming back. Be sure to bring cash as they don't take cards (though they do have an old school atm available).

Kerri Mezansky

delicious food and very friendly staff!

50+ years in same location, same family. Good people and good food. Not getting any Michelin stars but that's not the kind of place it is. It's a worthy landmark.

Pete Krause

Angelo’s is the classic lunch counter. Quality food with amazing service. It’s a glimpse back in time of the simpler days. Truly a neighbor gem.
