Sad news. They are closing at the end of December. The bread will be available at various places but we will all miss the generous sandwiches and great people. ?
Great big sandwiches, fresh bread, delicious soups, pastries!!! Yummy!!!
Great breads and spreads as well as friendly staff!
The bread was gorgeous and delicious. I had the rustic sourdough which was totally yummy. The roasted vegetable soup was bland and had little texture. The front end, the dining area, needed a thorough cleaning. There wasn't even a clean table.I will come back for the baked goods and take them out.
Big Sky has amazing breads!! I am VERY picky about what foods my family eats and Big Sky passes my tests. I found them at the New Garden growers market where folks serious about clean food shop. their English muffins and olive bread are absolutely to die for!ðŸ˜ðŸ‘ðŸ‘
Great little bakery with tons of different types of baked goods. They have pretty good sandwiches, we had the Pastrami (they were out of roast beef). The pic of the cookie was taken after tearing apart, it was delicious! The bread was excellent.
Nothing fancy, sourdough is a little too chewy, but I liked the service and they do have great chicken salad.
Customer service is good and I love their pasties and bread selection.
Staff always accommodating!! Love the bread tasting bar.. yum
Really good bread and they make a great sandwich with that bread, like a bakery should they close pretty early, and they have a big lunch rush so expect a little wait for your food. Really though if your looking for a place to get a sandwich on fresh rye bread this is your option in the vicinity of Arden.

Excellent lunches and fresh baked breads! Very affordable and casual it you're looking to grab a quick, hearty meal. They offer great soups & sandwiches - made to order. They also sell loafs of bread to sell Big Sky Bakery is a must try for lunch or to pick up fresh bread.
Average place with average prices. I like the quality of there breads much more than the local grocery stores, so they do get my business on the occations I can catch them open. There is a large quality scale of bakeries out there and compared to the lot, this place is average. I do recommend them over the grocery stores if that's where you normally get breads.
This is by far one of top cafes in the country. Their preservative-free fresh baked bread is amazing... their fresh daily made soups and sandwiches are top notch jam packed. Like moms home cooked meals but better. I pre buy alot of their bread and freeze them for later. Even their bread bags are perfect for storage. Their butters and jams... reminds me of the original recipes old timers.
Big Sky has really great bread in a ton of varieties, everything from crusty Italian, to challah, to sweet loafs, to kamut -- you name it. In March they make Irish soda bread that is to DIE for. They also make granola, which is really delicious, but a little pricey. Their other pastries are just so-so. Don't expect a great muffin or croissant or chocolate-chip cookie. They truly excel at bread baking. They also have amazing sandwiches. Their chicken salad is probably the best I've ever had. You get a choice of which of their homemade breads to have it on too. I always get the sourdough. It's absolutely delicious; it's my favorite. They also make their own awesome potato chips, which you can get as a side with your sandwich.Bummer that they are closed on Mondays.
Best chicken salad ever. Salads are great, sandwiches are not that great, really good bread however. Most of the staff is very rude with the exception of two men that work there,
