Earl Grey was subtle but so good.
The blueberry scones was good too.
The Meadowood wrap fig jam was way too sweet.

Even though the guy at the counter looked super overwhelmed because there was a line and he was stuck making coffees and taking orders all alone, The customer service was really good. However, he made just about the worst latte I have ever tasted from a brewhaha. It looked like milk and tasted worse. I’ve had coffee from this location many times as well. I’m not sure what the heck happened but I probably won’t be back. I wish I could get my money back, but I had already left and was halfway home before I took the first sip of my coffee. Thats how certain I was that the coffee would be good, because it usually is. Maybe hire more people?. Regardless, terrible experience, waste of money

The place was out of bread, and cold brew.
The place was dirty with the vestibule having dead bugs, general dirt and a broken tile. The couch area was littered with down feathers from the pillows and the carpet again was not vacuumed with more visible dirt.
Ordered the Trolley Square sandwich and it states it’s with honey mustard, but it was a loaded horseradish bomb. DO NOT ORDER. It is inedible. When alerted the staff couldn’t have been less bothered.

So airy and inviting inside. Not only the atmosphere and the decor, but the staff was super friendly. They were very happily accommodating, and made me feel great about the food choices i made.

The house coffee was ok. I really liked their seasonal coffee, summer-something? Very good.

Cobb Salad
As I couldn’t have the delicious looking bagels that everyone else in my group had, I got the Cobb salad with some chicken salad. They forgot to add the chicken salad, but remembered that I did order, totally admitted their error, and fixed it up right away. Very pleasant. And I’m so glad I spoke up, because the chicken salad was super good. On top of the Cobb salad, which was also delicious. The bacon strips were spot on, all the veggies were amazingly crunchy and fresh, eggs were perfectly sliced, and the dressing was also top notch. One thing I will ask for next time, and there will be a next time, is an extra packet of dressing.

Bagel sandwiches looked delicious, but somewhat overpriced. I guess prices are going up everywhere… but i just can’t justify the prices. I didn’t try these so I can’t attest personally, but hubby said it was good. Not eye opening shockingly amazing good, just good.

Overall, a very nice, pleasant experience.

One note. There was one customer in their private room, which has a huge table for a group of 10 or more. We were a big group, and there aren’t a whole lot of tables for big groups (there is one big one in the middle of the hall, but with higher chairs. We needed one more chair and ended up using a taller chair (which was awkward, but the lower chairs would also have been)). They should give priority to bigger groups to use the room, and perhaps note that on the door so one person isn’t using the entire space.

Best coffee place in Delaware

Brew HaHa used to be the go to and for the past few years all the stores have slipped a bit. The normal coffee is pretty bad if you want black coffee and just five years ago it was really good. There’s also no gluten free (or other dietary needs really) baked goods, and when compared to other coffee shops around like Sleeping Bird or Cafe Karma it’s just not up to par. The tumeric latte and matcha are good though.

A MUST TRY. Jaded by Starbucks? Let down by Dunkin? Local small coffee shops price gouging you to death? Thank Goodness Delaware has the answer. Enter Brew Haha a blessed throwback to the 90s era coffee shop atmosphere. Coffee? Sublime. Food? Delicious and made fresh. Vibes? Immaculate. 10/10 on all fronts will be visiting daily.

Kid-friendliness: I saw several families there and no one seemed put out. Not a place kids can run free but definitely a place they aren't discouraged.

A place to actually sit and do some work in peace. The coffee is better than Starbucks, similar pricing, with a decent breakfast and light lunch menu. The food isn't very special but it is better than other national chain coffee shop food. If you are looking for somewhere to relax, get some work done in peace, and have a nice cup of coffee while either sitting by the fireplace or outside with their flowers, than I would highly recommend this coffee shop over others. This local chain beats the national chains by a mile.

They actually do a cubano! And the truck stop sandwich is better than it has any right to be.

Perfect location to meet up or to quietly work. Relaxed atmosphere, small nooks and open spaces inside with a nice covered outside area as well.
