Bruster's Real Ice Cream

Just was there no-one at window stood there for a half hour two people there one went in the back. And the girl there kept ignoring us going in the back getting buckets of ice cream and ignoring us. When we left it was 3:50 pm so they didn’t close till 9:00pm. Won’t be back!

Ordered ice cream sandwiches
20 dollars worth. Paid online for them. Got there 15 minutes before posted store closing time., doors locked. Workers inside ignoring me. Poor customer service.

Always love the treats here. Since summer has ended, there's usually only one person on, so be prepared to wait a bit. It's always worth it tho.

Fast service delicious ice cream and shakes. You can't go wrong at Bruster's. Just like home made ice cream. I wish they had pumpkin flavor.

Kirkwood Highway Brusters is really good and the staff is really nice and knowledgeable. I really enjoyed the ice cream! Come out and get the fresh ice cream! It's the bomb!

Twice I have visited here when they're open but there's no service to customers. Just waited in the front, yelled into the store for service, even called on the phone for someone and no response. Music is on, but no one working. Shame.

We will def not be returning! There was a thick fingernail in my son’s ice cream tonight. I was so upset because he had eaten most of it before finding it. Hopefully he doesn’t get sick.

Was here tonight(Tuesday 9/24/24) and very bad experience. Ordered 2 Regular cups of hard scoop ice cream, a chocolate and a sea salt caramel. The sea salt caramel was melted basically, then as I’m dumping some into another cup because it’s a mess I see purple and pink which taste fruity. I immediately returned to the window after just stepping away, after a few minutes I had to yell through the screen as there were no employees around anymore, they completely disappeared into the back and there were other customers that just walked up. Someone comes over(not the original girl) and I ask to trade it for a chocolate because that looked good and showed her what I was given and explained the situation. I was told they couldn’t do that(which I’m not sure why bring it’s the same price). The original girl comes over and says that the one I was given wasn’t melted, then after showing her the purple and pink color in the cup I was able to finally convince the 2 girls to simply re-make my order, it’s still partially melted, we left.

Photos for reference. I will not be back, the workers were not nice or professional and hard scoop ice cream you shouldn’t need a straw from the start! Photos attached (sorry my daughter ate half her chocolate by the time I took a pic but the chocolate looked normal, the sea salt caramel was handed to me as it looks in photo.)

Updated: I put my sea salt caramel in the freezer when we got home, it froze up solid just fine, so it is melted in their coolers!
