Bruster's Real Ice Cream

We will def not be returning! There was a thick fingernail in my son’s ice cream tonight. I was so upset because he had eaten most of it before finding it. Hopefully he doesn’t get sick.

Was here tonight(Tuesday 9/24/24) and very bad experience. Ordered 2 Regular cups of hard scoop ice cream, a chocolate and a sea salt caramel. The sea salt caramel was melted basically, then as I’m dumping some into another cup because it’s a mess I see purple and pink which taste fruity. I immediately returned to the window after just stepping away, after a few minutes I had to yell through the screen as there were no employees around anymore, they completely disappeared into the back and there were other customers that just walked up. Someone comes over(not the original girl) and I ask to trade it for a chocolate because that looked good and showed her what I was given and explained the situation. I was told they couldn’t do that(which I’m not sure why bring it’s the same price). The original girl comes over and says that the one I was given wasn’t melted, then after showing her the purple and pink color in the cup I was able to finally convince the 2 girls to simply re-make my order, it’s still partially melted, we left.

Photos attached (sorry my daughter ate half her chocolate by the time I took a pic but the chocolate looked normal, the sea salt caramel was handed to me as it looks in photo.)

Updated: I put my sea salt caramel in the freezer when we got home, it froze up solid just fine, so it is melted in their coolers!

Ice cream is so creamy and fresh!! Plus so many flavors.

They won't answer the phones.

Ordered a cake more than a week ahead of time. Showed up to pick up the cake was told it wasn’t ready come back in two hours. Came back in 3 and was told they didn’t have the product to make the cake. Didn’t offer a solution or anything to make up for my kids being sad on their birthday without their cake. Worse place ever and horrible customer service. The owners need to be more hands on if they are going to make it last.

We hired Bruster's Catering for our wedding dessert and it was a HIT!! Derrick was fun and so easy to work with. As the bride, I was running around and wrapped up in the amazing day, and he personally found me to ensure I had some ice cream. Talk about going the extra mile!! Would definitely recommend as a fun wedding alternative to cake.

The ice cream is good, but online ordering is a joke, as is customer service. All the times I ordered online, it was never ready qhen I got there. They made my order at the time I showed up to pick it up and the guy behind the counter made a comment that he wasn't sure they had what I had ordered. So the online ordering is useless and customer service is terrible. I won't be back.

I've never eaten here but a few weeks ago I watched what looked like an amphetamine enthusiast race across the street at full speed, despite cars coming to get to your ice cream shop. It didn't matter that it was almost midnight; at least not to him.He was absolutely beside himself that he couldn't get the door to open. He didn't give up. He just kept trying to open your slide up doors like a regular door.Your ice cream must be amazing.

The Apple Dumpling sundae was delicious.
