Stopped in for a snack and had their cheese sticks. I was not expecting much and was very happily surprised! Everything was freshly made. The cheese was delicious, the fresh pesto was insanely delicious, and the marinara outstanding. If the rest of the menu is as good as this one appetizer its a good time.

We had the most wonderful experience at Buckley's Tavern yesterday while celebrating my husband’s birthday with our family! From the moment we walked in, everything felt warm, welcoming, and special. The staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and truly made us feel valued. They helped make the birthday celebration feel even more meaningful. The food was absolutely delicious — every single dish we ordered exceeded our expectations. We started with the creamy mushroom soup, and it was AMAZING! So rich, smooth, and full of flavor — you could tell it was made with care. It was the perfect way to begin our meal. After that, we shared a beautiful fruit plate with dipping sauce. It was fresh, colorful, and such a refreshing addition to the meal. The dipping sauce paired perfectly with the fruit and made it feel extra special. For our main dishes, we had the Shepherd’s Pie and the Lobster Roll — and wow! Both were outstanding. The Shepherd’s Pie was hearty, comforting, and full of flavor, with perfectly seasoned meat and creamy mashed potatoes on top. The Lobster Roll was fresh and generously filled, perfectly balanced and absolutely delicious. Every bite was satisfying! The atmosphere was cozy and charming, perfect for a family celebration. The only small challenge was parking — it was a bit hard to find a spot — but honestly, the incredible food and service made it completely worth it. We had such a lovely and memorable birthday dinner, and we are so grateful for the amazing experience. Highly recommend Buckley’s Tavern for special occasions or just a wonderful meal with family. We will definitely be back!

This was a repeat visit after a service issue the last time. I am so happy to report that everything was great last night! I believe our server’s name was Amber - she was friendly, helpful, and on target with timing, despite a busy dining room. The food was exceptional, as we have always found it to be, and the specialty cocktail was quite good. We had a lovely pre-Valentine dinner and offer our thanks and praise to all involved. We will be back for a fifth visit soon!

Recently dined and was very put off, both with the food and atmosphere. The food reminded us of diner food, mashed potatoes put on the plate with an ice cream scoop, and if that wasnt used, it certainly fit the round perfect little shape just like you see in a diner. The meatloaf had the appearance of scrapple and was bland. The NY strip was very fatty and a waste of money in our opinion. The mushroom soup was luke warm and clumpy. We ordered apps as well and were not impressed. The calamari was dumped in a basket and appeared to be the bottom of the bag. all the crumbs and loose breading was sitting in the bottom of the basket. It was less than inviting. The crab cake sliders appeared to be done with a tiny cookie scooper, lots of roll, not much crab. The highlights were the Shepard pie, caesar salad, the fried mozzarella and French onion soup, all these were good and served hot. Overall, the food was underwhelming at best. The noise level and atmosphere was terrible. We were seated in the dining area and near an obnoxious family with kids they allowed to run through the restaurant with toys, one toy ended up under our table. The staff nor the parents did anything. Cloth napkins left laying all over the floor. The entitlement was also obnoxious and invading to our space and not what we would expect at this restaurant. It is doubtful we will return.

Prices are reasonable and food tasted good. The place was packed but luckily we got a table in the heated outdoor area. They asked if we had reservation, but nowhere in Google maps or their website was the option available... so better call them.
I got the Seafood Christina and although it was good, it felt overwhelming. It had a lot of sauce like a gumbo. Good portion. Moscow mule was okay, but their Guava Margarita with Mijenta tequila was sublime. 🥃
Service was really good and the place is clean and cozy. It would have been nice to have a bit more light in the porch area to see better what we're eating.
