Always a wonderful experience! Fabulous food, great service! Have been eating here for several years ! In fact, we had our 50th anniversary dinner here with about 15 friends. Everyone loved their meal .Will definitely return !!

Stopped in while on a business trip, it was an early dinner. When I sat down the restaurant was totally empty, but in a matter of minutes the place became totally full. It became so busy so quickly that I had to ask my server about it and they explained that it was a “theatre night” - and additionally that the restaurant across the street wasn't open so they were busier than normal. I started with their signature Mai tai - it was wonderful, drinks and bread came out timely. I ordered the sautéed mussels for an appetizer and ossobucco for my main course. However from here it took quite some time before I got my food (they were very busy at this point so it was understandable). But when I did get my food it was delivered hot and fresh, really next level stuff. By this point the place was completely cleared out (truly bizarre) so I went in for dessert. The crème brûlée and carajillo espresso cocktail were stellar. I would really love to return in the future with my family, hopefully on a quieter evening, which the server explained is more common so I look forward to returning in the future, I highly recommend

Good food marred by slow service. Made reservations for 1.5 hours before our concert . Drinks, appetizers served within 30 minutes... and then we waited- for another 40 minutes. Watched folks come in, get served and leave while we're watching the clock. Reminded server of our commitment.. still nothing. When he arrived with our main course we had to immediately get it bagged to get food back at hotel before going to the Grand. We weren't the only ones getting uneaten food bagged for same event. C arpacc- delicious. Salad - enjoyed, Sacchetini- homemade-WITH NO SAUCE! No plans to return!

The food was good. Our waiter was very nice. But if you are in a rush do not go here It took us a hour to get our meal. It was 2 plates of pasta. So if you want to linger and have no time constraints no issue.

Got there at 545 Ordered our food at 6 and it finally came out at 647. Almost missed the show we were going to at the Opera House.

Menu was somewhat boring. Nothing special. The food was prepared well and tasted good. Service ok. I was hoping for a bit better experience but it was not bad given the great location.

We had a very nice meal before the show. Our server was attentive. The food was really really exceptional. One small question however. Isn't lingini thin strips of pasta? My linguini with clams was really tasty. But the pasta was more fettuccini size. Not the end of the world, but still not what was expected. But the piece that really kept them from getting five stars across the board was the invoice. I asked for some cheese for my "linguini" and clams. Our server brought a small soufle size cup with grated parmesan. I was expecting to get cheese grated over my meal. But that was not the kicker. When we got the bill, there was a $4 charge for the soufle cup of grated cheese! We were taken aback. We didn't say anything as we did not want to make a scene. But I am taking this opportunity to register my disappointment. As I stated from the start. It was a great meal. That cheese charge though......

Elegant atmosphere with waitstaff that clearly have experience- providing service in a dignified non intrusive manner. Presentation of food was well done, very appetizing. Excellent flavoring, Open alone slightly spicier than anticipated. Let the broccoli rabe rile veggie flavor with sausage. Would highly recommend this restaurant for a special meal to catch up with someone special, enjoy during travel or special occasion celebration.

The cafe was a cute little place but the food could have been easily kicked up a notch. Toast the bread in the beginning and the calamari was a little chewy but main dishes were surprisingly delicious. Server Stephen was great and a pleasure.

Cafe Mezzanotte is a very good casual dining restaurant in downtown Wilmington, DE. Steven, our server, provided great service and the reasonably priced Italian food was over the top. It was every thing you could ask for in a dining experience. We will definitely try to visit this gem more often!

Cafe Mezzanotte is consistently a great experience. Veal chop is out of this world. But everything that Sergio produces is excellent, fresh, and authentic Italian cuisine. Go there. You will NOT be disappointed!!

My friend & I had a 10/10 experience! Our server was very kind, gave recommendations & got our food to us so quickly. Everything tasted fresh & delicious. The Drinks were strong but tasty & the Lobster Ravioli was amazing. We even got to thank the Chef afterwards. We will definitely return

Very disappointing. The server had zero personality. The place was almost empty, but he seemed to be ignoring us. The food was unimpressive. Bolognese was a bowl of pasta and hamburger... not much flavor. The Lobster ravioli had very little lobster. We had to request grated cheese! Who doesn't do that automatically with pasta? Will not be going back!
