Was craving some seafood and saw this place had good reviews and for GOOD REASON! As soon as we walked in, all of the staff were super welcoming and nice. The food was amazing. We got the seafood gumbo, cajun popcorn shrimp, catfish fingers, and fried chicken alfredo. The batter on the fried food was perfectly seasoned and had a great crunch to it. The tartar sauce was amazing as well, so much flavor! The staff was so kind to let us try samples for the other items and we are definitely coming back to try their other items. A muuuuuuuuuuuuust try if you want seafood. You will not regret it!

From the moment we walked in, we were impressed! The customer service was absolutely outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuinely caring without being overbearing. They made us priority 1 and we felt welcomed and appreciated, which is rare these days.
The cajun food was excellent — full of New Orleans flavor, and clearly crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Each dish was perfectly seasoned and tasted like it was made with passion and love for the culinary craft.
The owners take pride in every detail. Their commitment to excellence shows in the friendly service, consistent quality, and overall vision for the restaurant.
And meeting owner/chef Don really sealed the deal! His genuine down to earth customer focus and service were impeccable!
Cleanliness was also top-notch—which gave us even more confidence in the care and professionalism behind the scenes.

I recently moved to Delaware from Louisiana and the thing I miss the most is the food. I’m sooooo glad I found Cajun Kate’s. Everything I’ve gotten from there is very, very good and tastes just like home. Highly recommended
Kelly was literally the best. It was my first time and she gave me bunch of samples to try on and gave clear breakdown of everything.

Good authentic food given the stamp of approval by my Louisianian husband. The food was very flavorful and delicious, they put a lot of thought into crafting their specials and even the desserts which I thought was so sweet. Everyone was kind, helpful, very knowledgeable, and we will definitely be returning. :)

The owner don is an amazing individual I had the pleasure today to stop in to his restraint while he was there as I walked into the store I was treated like family very welcoming for it being my first time there customer service is a 10/10 but let me talk about the food don gave me a sample of his gumbo and growing up in Texas my grandpa would always make gumbo and this gumbo he let me try tasted identical to his tasted like it was stirred with a paddle simmering for hours on end so good with just the right amount of kick and omg there hush puppies when you think hush puppies you think like smaller then a golf ball this man makes hush puppies if not the same size as a golf ball maybe a little bigger I went in to day because I wanted to try his food when I tell you I ordered and canoli cupcake and a catfish po boy with hush puppies I ate a half of the po boy and was full but I had to try the hush puppies l ate one and was finna explode the amount of food you get for a cheap price that taste like papas cooking you can’t beat it
