Genuine Cajun Cuisine in DE! What a delicious surprise. Love this place. Kate and Don are amazing Chefs. Had the gumbo, frogs legs, fried mac'n cheese, chicken parm po' boy. Shared with my son and his friend. Full bellies and a big smile. Highest Recommendation!!!

AMAZING staff! Very friendly & knowledgeable about the dishes they sell. The food was even more AMAZING!! I had the red beans and rice and it was PERFECT! They have small, medium and large (also for the jambalaya) and I get the large and still have half to take home!! Also tried GATOR for the first time and it was actually very good! DON'T forget to have the beignets (deep-fryed pastry) for dessert!!! The atmosphere is super cool, very New-Orleans-authentic! Then, one of my favorite things about Cajun Kate's, their prices!!! SUPER low! We could actually afford to eat out which is rare!!! Grade A for sure!!

Stopped here passing through Wilmington on the way to Philly. Food was fantastic. We had the shrimp and sausage Gumbo and the boudin balls. Service was great. It is an order and seat yourself location. We were given some samplers of the rice and beans as well as a few others. All of the food was fantastic. Very happy we stopped here.
