I contacted several bakeries and Cakes by Kim was immediately responsive to my email. They were able to get us a custom cake within just a few weeks for our pastor's anniversary cake. We sent an inspiration photo and they were able to bring it to life. We did delivery service and they were amazing! Not only did all our guests enjoy the cake but they enjoyed the gorgeous design of the cake. Thank you so much! The cake was so moist and the light frosting we went with - everyone kept on talking about! If you're looking for a cheap cake, this isn't the place. Their pastries are excellent. Got there right before closing on Saturday, and they were able to make taylor made cupcakes with fresh strawberries and cream . Also got awesome fresh danishes, cheesecake , donuts, cookies & puffpastries. Simply delicious.

Lesson learned, do not buy pie from an establishment specializing in cake! They were horrible. I purchased 2 pumpkin and 2 sweet potato pies for Thanksgiving at $22 a piece. The pumpkin tasted awful. All of our guests who tasted it mentioned both the consistency and taste were off as if a key ingredient(s) may have been omitted. No one had more than two bites. The second pie went in the trash untouched. Our guests opinion of the sweet potato pie was it was overly sweet with a hint of sweet potato rather than sweet potato being the main ingredient. No one finished a slice and the second pie also went in trash untouched. $88 in the trash!

Cakes by Kim did an amazing job with creating my gender reveal cake! This was such a special experience for my husband and I! They went above and beyond to give me the cake I dreamed about! The icing was perfect, the cake was SUPER moist and flavorful. We got a colored vanilla mousse which was delightful. Definitely won my heart over and will be returning for all cake and cupcake orders!!!!

We celebrated my daughter's 1st birthday was at Jurassic Fun Land in Newark, DE. Her theme was a baby girl pink dinosaur smash cake, with her uncle's blue dinosaur acknowledgement cake.
We had such a successful 1st birthday party for our daughter! Her uncle's acknowledgement cake was the perfect cake to accompany hers. The mini chocolate chip cookie cakes were delicious and the perfect treat for everyone to enjoy! Our family loved how they looked and tasted!
