A friend and O went to Charcoal Pit on concord pike today. We had been many times when we were young and remembered it fondly. We remembered the food as being great we both got different burgers and fries medium* and she got a shake. Her shake was great!! The burgers were overcooked and very dry! The fries tasted like they had been im the freezer too long. So so disappointing!

The restaurant feels straight out of a 70s diner and still has many of the old components in it. We recieved our food really quickly but it took a while for our waiter to give us our check. The food was super solid and definitely a great spot to visit in Delaware

If you want a good old fashioned buger or milkshake, this is the place. The food is awesome, especially if you want comfort food. The bugers are the best anywhere in the region. The milkshakes are best anywhere. Theres a reason it's been around for 70 years. Its a must stop if youre in the area.

Loved that the place was retro yet kept up. It was clean and welcoming. The staff were all so kind to us. Our server was great and attentive. Food was good! I couldn't have asked for a better experience for our first time here! Highly recommend.
