I absolutely love the charcoal pit. Been a customer since I was a kid. But what is up with the new French fries?? The fries that you always had before were way better and perfect rather than these new godaweful things. Please change back to the original ones. These SUCK 🤢🤮🤬😡

It was okay,I got ribs, and they were good, but the milkshakes are kinda mid. Water tasted like it had chemicals in it,was it worth it? Not really. The server was super nice, though

Charcoal Pit continues to be a community staple on 202. Our service was fast and the food was ho and delicious. My only minor complaint... I wish my plate had more fries. Smile...
I had the angus sliders (i wont try a 2nd time). Son had double cheeseburger and a chocolate shake. He's typically very picky and seemed satisfied, and willing to return, so I'll give it another try and order something else nect time ?

If your looking for great food, great service and an atmosphere of nostalgia, this is the place.
Table had cleaning rags on it, our order was wrong, and most of the food just went in the garbage. Seems like it probably use to be very nice but I would not recommend it now.

The milk shakes were the best I've had in the US in my 9+ years of being here! My wife and my reaction was the same as the Twitter videos we watched of people drinking them.

Nadine, the hostess at Charcoal Pit on Concord Pike, was so rude that I left without ordering. I requested 2 tables next to each other for 5 people as booths made to sit 4 people are too crowded for 5. She refused and said We could have only one booth with chair at end. I pointed out that restaurant was only about 19 percent occupied with plenty of empty booths. She said this was policy with no exceptions. I told her I was going to leave and post a bad review. She told me go ahead as she did not care as they had plenty of business. I have gone to the Charcoal Pit many time in past 40 years but do not plan to return as long as Nadine is employed
