I ordered 1/2 a bushel of crabs. I went to pick them up and a person went in back room and immediately came out with them. We live 10 minutes away got home to eat crabs they where cold and dry. The worst crabs I ever had. I have ordered crabs from Crab Shack for many years. We threw them away - $150 for the worst crabs I ever got from Crab Shack. You should be ashamed for taking advantage of people.

Due to the prices we only buy them once a year. The Chesapeake Crab Co. in Newport has the best ones, large, full, cooked and seasoned perfect. I would highly recommend you get them here.

The price was great and I think they have crabs for every budget that is so caring if them. The guy was super nice and very welcoming just a very great experience.

I have been ordering from them since they cooked out of a church on Concord Pike. Tonite was/is my 43rd anniversary. it was so cute that they wrote Happy Anniversary on the top crab and on the box. it's a very caring crew.

First time buyer. We got 2 dozen jumbo and 1 dozen extra large. They were exactly that. No small or borderline crabs snuck in there. All packed hard crabs. He sent me a text the morning I was picking them up to tell me exactly when they would be ready so they weren’t sitting in a bag getting cold. Couldn’t have been a better experience. That’s the new place for my family and friends to get crabs for parties. Oh get the crab sauce too ??

I ordered crabs due to being nearby and convenience and I was very impressed! I ordered a dozen large and they were definitely large. Each crab was full and flavorful. If your contemplating, stop and just give them a try. They were great to talk to and professional. Great experience from ordering until bringing them home and eating the last crab. I will be back, thank you very much!
Got a bushel of larges for my Crab & BBQ party over the weekend. Could not have been happier. They were delicious, heavy, and meaty. Can’t wait for next time.

After driving by the crab signs for weeks, I finally pulled into the parking lot and followed the signs to the crabs. I got 1/2 dozen jumbos and was not disappointed. These guys were so big & heavy, I even picked the small legs. Not at all watery, like the “xl” I got from another place…I have been thinking about those dense backfins for days now, counting the days til they open on Friday afternoon. Seasoning was on point, too, not drowning in Old Bay.Call ahead & they will have your order ready, so you’re in & out.

Very disappointed. I ordered a dozen of steamed crabs, and NONE of the crabs had all their legs. The majority of them had none at all. There were about 5 claws thrown in the bottom of the bag. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

As a recreational crabber who has enjoyed blue crabs my whole life, I feel justified giving my opinion. They were impressive. The crabs were sorted well, cooked to perfection, and the seasoning was on point. No too spicy or salty… just right. I picked until my fingers were like prunes and still wanted more. Even the little legs were easy to pick. Bravo! Can’t wait until next time.
