Cielito Lindo Mexican Restaurant

Im from Texas and I know authentic Mexican food when I taste it. Well this place has it! It feels like eating at my mom's house with the hand-made tortillas they serve in any plate. You can taste the authenticity of the ingredients in the food and service is well served as well. They even sell beer, which is big plus since it goes well with Mexican food.

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. I came here after graduation with my family and wasn’t expecting much, but the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and awesome to be around and congratulated me as well. The burrito with chicken is delicious. Thank you so much for a wonderful time!

Bought tamales , they were extremely dry and tasteless . The people are very nice, though.

My husband and I stopped in randomly for a taco and had the most amazing experience! The food (steak tacos with red and green home made salsas) was AMAZING! The atmosphere and service were perfect. Soooo authentic. We will return - best Mexican I’ve had in Delaware plus extra cold beer! The family who owns, operates and cooks the food is lovely. Cannot wait to return!

Moved back to Wilmington to find this GEM of a restaurant in my neighborhood. The best street tacos and Mexican food in general. My daughter - the fussiest eater - loves the quesadillas and eats everything on her plate. The Mango Margaritas- wowza!!!! The people are so nice - great service. I love the food and as they always say about ethnic restaurants - eat at a restaurant the natives eat because you know it’s genuine food. And it is. Simply the best!

Very bad service, I was there for more than 1 hour 20 minutes. They served 2 tables of gringos and they never served us, I think they serve you based on you. Color. And clothing. Very bad service, I do not recommend it for Latinos.

If you want a true taste of authentic Mexican food, this is the place! The food is prepared as per you order. Thoughtful flavors, fresh meats, rice and beans. So good !!! Wonderful staff. This is our new place to go and we're so glad we found it. Thank you to staff and cooks!
