Connie's Chicken and Waffles

Food was amazing. Drinks were amazing. Service was amazing. Would definitely return to Delaware just for Connie's chicken and waffles. Atmosphere was nice. Love that all the vendors ordered food from one another.

Parking: Had to circle around the block to find parking. Once found had to walk. Not a far distance though.

I wasn’t expecting such a delicious meal from a communal dining area, but we decided to try Connie’s chicken and waffles and boy was I blown away. The person who prepared our food was absolutely exceptional, and the food fresh and hot.

I may have just hit a weird day or maybe my order just happened to be the one that wasn’t their best, but my chicken was dry. The breading was crispy and flavorful, the meat was dry. The waffle was only cooked to a bit brown on one side and the other side was quite pale. Not sure if I just got unlucky or if their other restaurant is better quality.

Kid-friendliness: It is an indoor space for kids to be in safely. There is lots of seating for different heights and groups of people.

Wheelchair accessibility: It is flat in the entire food court.

Connie's was AMAZING! Steven and Darryl took care of us. That chicken was juicy and to die for and the waffle was light and fluffy. We'll definitely be back!
