i’ll start up by saying that the atmosphere isn’t that great in this place, and the menu rarely changes but the food is quite acceptable and nicely cooked. It has a nice selection of wine to choose from and many other mixed drinks, but it is a nice neighborhood go to restaurant that serves a lot of residents of the local area. I would recommend it.

We had a fantastic dinner last night, in every way! The food was absolutely delicious, from appetizers to desserts, and our server Ted was excellent. He was friendly, attentive, and kind. We love this restaurant!

Joined two former male colleagues/ friends and two female friends for a reunion lunch that was quite enjoyable! The service was professional and personable provided by Jack for our ninety minute time at the restaurant. The two wines, one red, one white were good and fairly priced. The same can be said of our entrees, tasty crepes and my delicious chicken salad platter. Our tariff with a generous tip came to $40 per person which fair and reasonable based on our selections and fine experience. Would return again in the future. Highly Recommended!

Having a rare day in August where the weather was nice enough to sit outside, my husband and I decided to try out the Corner Bistro. I had the Tropical Siesta and it was a delicious drink. The crab cake with saffon risotto and asparagus was very tasty. The carmelized shallot remoulade was different and very good. My husband had the short rib and enjoyed it. We got peanut butter cookies with our check which was a nice surprise! We took desserts to go. The tiramisu was very flavorful. The key lime pie was very nice and not too sour.

Excellent food, good service.
The bar doesn't get very crowded, so its no problem to pop in by yourself and sit at rhe bar.

I'm always leery of restaurants in strip mall areas, but I've been surprised in the past. This place is trying to be something they are not, and they are taking advantage of people, which is why I don't go out to restaurants anymore.

This is a bistro trying very hard to be chic, but it's a glorified café for old folks. The decor truly did transport me to France, but the food flopped really badly.

I went with a friend where we both ordered drinks. I was given a 2 ounce drink with a huge block ice for $15. Highway robbery. I started out with the French onion soup. I thought it would be a bigger portion because, in a separate part of the menu, they advertised quiche of the day with a petite French onion soup. The normal soup was not advertised as petite. The meal combo was actually the best meal value to anything else I saw on this menu.

It was ok tasting. My friend's beet salad wasn't too bad looking, but there wasn't an even amount of greens to beets.

The entrees we ordered with the avocado BLT with fries and the chicken salad plate.

My friend's sandwich was dry with no mayo or sauce to make it appetizing. She said it was meh.

My chicken salad lacked in herbs and tasted like chicken with mayo. The greens weren't dressed, and I requested dressing, which took 15 minutes to receive because the dining room had filled up, and the waitress was taking care of multiple tables. Mind you, we were the first ones in the tables at opening.

The price point on this plate was atrocious. For $16, I got 3/4 cup of salad with greens, 3 small slices of naan, which were actually pita because they were crispy and weren't enough to enjoy with my salad. The fruit was nice, but I ended up making my own salad, cutting up the fruit, and adding the dressing i requested.

Do yourself a favor. You can make this at home. This place is seriously overpriced. Oh, and the sign outside looks like something out of the end time. Letters fading, plants dying outside because of the heat. Lol, I felt bad, but the outside has work to be done.

Great hidden spot. Black bean soup is a must try. Also try the chilled heat cocktail, perfect for those who want a buzz but don’t drink alcohol, great addition to the menu!!

Visited early June 2025 - lunchtime.
Food was drink were good but service was poor. I saw the server sitting, drinking water, and conversing with her owner. When I informed the server of my displeasure, her owner refused payment. The owner should have apologized and promised to correct the situation. I’ll never return.

I visited Wilmington for the first time in over a decade, and on a beautiful, sunny Sunday, I stumbled upon this charming Italian restaurant—and I’m so glad I did.

Everything about the experience was memorable. The food was fantastic; I ordered the salmon with mashed potatoes, and it was cooked to perfection—flaky, flavorful, and comforting without being heavy. The drinks were just as impressive, refreshing and well-crafted, perfectly complementing the meal.

What really stood out, besides the quality of the food, was the value. Great prices for such high-caliber dishes and service. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, making it the perfect stop during a nostalgic spring visit.

Highly recommend this spot if you’re in Wilmington and craving something delicious, well-priced, and served with care.
