I am appalled by the experience I had at Dead Presidents Pub & Restaurant located at 618 N Union St, Wilmington, DE 19805. My friends and I arrived around 11 PM, intending to have one drink before leaving. When I noticed three available seats at the bar, I asked nearby patrons if anyone was sitting there, and they said no. As I moved a chair over, the bartender immediately told me, in a snooty and sarcastic tone, that someone was sitting there. When I explained that others had said the seats were free and asked where we should sit, he responded, "literally anywhere else."

My friend, offended by his tone, asked why he was speaking to us that way. His reply was, "you ask stupid questions, you get stupid answers." We were shocked by his rude and unprofessional behavior. Although I don't know his name, he was a Caucasian man with brown or blonde hair, of average height, and wearing a hat.

We decided to leave and went to Grotto's Pizza down the street, where we were greeted by a friendly and outgoing bartender named Beth. She turned our terrible experience into a positive one. I have never encountered such poor behavior at an establishment before and will not be returning.

I placed a order for pickup was told they were sold out of the cheese steak egg rolls they did not contact me to let me know or even offer a substitution they said they would refund me the 24 dollars through the app and it still hasnt went back on my card so Im assuming they didnt take off for the items that weren't available the food that we did receive was excellent I will give them that and I would definitely go back but use cash or go inside because they definitely scammed me out of my money but other than losing a lot of money the food is amazing

They have parking. Good food never packed PACKED you can find set?. The person is alwasy moving so if no one is in the front when you come just halla for someone to out.They do their job well.

Parking: No wheelchair access ? so do take out. Im sure they don't have a problem bringing the food out side. Pay over the phone if your comfortable.

Parking: The lot on the side of the building is great for less busy times or days but can be tough when it's busy. On weekends I'd suggest street parking or a little bit of a walk to park on a side street.

I was referred to this business by a family member, said to have some great food but instead I experienced nothing but anxiety from a drunken bartender. She accused me of already receiving my order when in fact she was intoxicated and simply had forgotten it. So I left with cold food and disappointment after a 30 min wait. Waste of time and money. My wife called and explained the situation and was denied a refund. As long as that dysfunctional lady is working there I'd advise anyone to choose another restaurant. Respectfully ??

Ordered to go on 2/1/2024 needless to say I waisted $28. I called at 8:05 my food wasn’t “ready” until 8:51 My boyfriend went inside to pick the food up and was told us wasn’t ready yet. He sat and waited 15 minutes before stepping g back out to let me know what was going on, he went back in to wait where he waited another 10 minutes until finally the lady working asked if he needed anything the same women who just told him his order wasn’t ready. The entire time our food was sitting there getting cold and soggy. She was behind the bar drinking rude as ever and when I asked for my food to be remade she wouldn’t then I asked for a refund and she made it as if it was my boyfriends fault. When asking to speak to a manger I was told there isn’t one there. I Came here the other day and was very impressed with the food but after this experience I will NOT EVER spend another $1 there

Late nite bite new years night they were out of wings so I got the burger and it didn't disappoint cooked and seasoned well oh yeah Monday is burger day it was only 8$
