My favorite place to get hot dogs. I would have gave them five stars but their sauce is not true chili sauce so you can't have a real chili cheese dog and I prefer my chili without the beans.

One of the better hot dogs I've had in Delaware, up there with the dog house.Their secret sauce is a little spicy but well worth it. Fries are excellent crunchy on the outside. Can be a little pricey for a hot dog but you get what you pay for.

First off, best fries I’ve ever had. Strawberry milkshake was the PERFECT consistency, and they used real strawberries. The secret sauce they use in the “everything dog” had just a tiny bit of heat to it, and was absolutely delicious. The open-sliced hot dogs on the double was so filling. 10/10
I've worked in the same shopping center as Deerhead for many years. Never used to go there much until here recently. The husband who also works in the shopping center has recently been bringing home tuna subs. Not just good tuna subs but great tuna subs. We've really been enjoying these.But that isn't what Deerhead is known for. It's the hotdogs and the secret sauce. They split the dogs before cooking them to make a better foil for the secret sauce to attach to. They also make a mean burger too. Last time I tried the double cheeseburger and was very happy with how it turned out. Happily they served it with a good bread so it didnt disintegrate.Lastly. Their milkshakes. Love these things. Nice and stiff when you first get them, perfection. Oh and get the chocolate. Because you love chocolate too.Old school ambiance straight out of a different era, but bringing it current. Indulge that inner child that loves hotdogs and cheesesteaks and head on over.

This Deerhead is nothing like its other location. I ordered a footlong hot dog, honestly it was one of the worst hot dogs I ever had. The dog was old and was definitely re-heated, it also smelled bad. The bun was stale, as an employee of the doghouse this is disgraceful to the realm of hot dogs. Obviously they have a young samurai working the grill.

I'm originally from Georgia and it was like stepping in to a down home diner. This is my boyfriend's favorite restaurant. He's been going since he was a child and he shared it with me. I can definitely see why. I don't normally like hot dogs but these were great.
