This place is really cute. Our waiter was nice and accommodating. We all enjoyed our food. I especially liked the firecracker shrimp appetizer. Jambalaya was very flavorful as well. The price/quality ratio is on point. I have been to places where they charge twice as much for beyond mediocre food. Dorcea does it right and I will be back

Food quality and selection is great. Service starts strong and finishes poorly - they run the model of wait staff gets you to appetizers, then food runners bring mains out and don't communicate with you as they are brought out close to each other in time but not at the same time... This leaves you wondering where your sides are that didn't make it out during the parade of plate drop offs. Didn't see our waitress again until 75% done with mains. Had to walk up to get help and side dish.

We first discovered Dorcea this past summer at a private dinner party hosted in the back room. Since that delicious dinner, we have been back several times. Each time the food, service and atmosphere has been outstanding! It’s a hidden gem in the city and you won’t be disappointed if you dine there.
Parking: Lot next to restaurant is easy access, and plenty of parking.

Dorcea pays homage to the 1990s movie and book, American Psycho, and the in-story restaurant Dorsia. Like the source material, the restaurant lives up to its name. The food is phenomenal and atmosphere comfortable and welcoming. I had the Korean salmon while my guests had the famous meatloaf. All portions were large and we had plenty to share.
There's also Easter eggs specific to the American Psycho movie starring Christian Bale as Patrick Bateman, so look forward to seeing some things that remind you of the film.
And try the featured cocktails, they're fantastic.

My first time at this restaurant. Was out with a group of friends. Everyone was very friendly, food was delish, and I like that our larger size party was tucked away so that we could enjoy our celebration without distracting others.

Stop by for an after work cocktail. We had a good time but I was a little irritated with the people at the other end of the bar shouting back and forth with a bartender. I obviously must not be the local that they are. Overall though. Fun place to go and the food look good that I can't speak to how it tasted. Worth a visit
