This place is really cute. Our waiter was nice and accommodating. We all enjoyed our food. I especially liked the firecracker shrimp appetizer. Jambalaya was very flavorful as well. The price/quality ratio is on point. I have been to places where they charge twice as much for beyond mediocre food. Dorcea does it right and I will be back
Food quality and selection is great. Service starts strong and finishes poorly - they run the model of wait staff gets you to appetizers, then food runners bring mains out and don't communicate with you as they are brought out close to each other in time but not at the same time... This leaves you wondering where your sides are that didn't make it out during the parade of plate drop offs. Didn't see our waitress again until 75% done with mains. Had to walk up to...
We first discovered Dorcea this past summer at a private dinner party hosted in the back room. Since that delicious dinner, we have been back several times. Each time the food, service and atmosphere has been outstanding! It’s a hidden gem in the city and you won’t be disappointed if you dine there.
