Another good experience and Eclipse. Atmosphere, service, food, and drink all excellent as expected. We did notice that the prices seem to have inflated recently.
We met another couple for dinner and had a great time! We started with the flight of martinis which were delish! We also had a smoky old fashioned and the white cosmo which were all so good. Then we had asparagus fried and calamari. So good! Entrees were excellent - we had 2 salads and the duck and pork chops. Service was excellent - we'll be back.
The food was delicious, fresh and more than enough! Service was perfect. We loved celebrating my husband's birthday and will be back!
Salmon salad and papardelle were excellent. Tuna poke was good, but tuna pieces were a bit mushy. This was my third visit and the food and service are always very good.
We went on a weekday night and this is obviously a favorite after-work stopping place. It's lively and pleasant and the food is quite good. We had the duck, risotto and grilled asparagus and enjoyed it.
Eclipse is always tried and true. The best Calamari in town . I have never had a bad meal or experience there.
Almost an neghborhood place atmosphere mid-week. A little noisy weekends but the food and the service are always great.
My son just graduated from the University of Delaware and I can't believe it took us four years to find this restaurant. Everything was truly excellent and the service was great. I might drive there from Pittsburgh just to eat at Eclipse bistro again.
We found this restaurant right around the corner from our hotel in Philadelphia. It's a beautiful, and the food is outstanding. My wife had the steak with asparagus and I had the bone in pork chop over cheese grits with a touch of jalapeño. The portions were generous, And the presentations were beautiful. More importantly, the food was yummy. The service was impeccable. My only qualm would be having to pay for bread.
Love Eclipse Bistro. It's kind of the perfect neighborhood restaurant: friendly, laid-back with an extensive but focused menu. Love the soups and the different salads and the great hamburger. And with tremendous drinks list.

Impeccable! I don't give top marks to many places, but Eclipse is SO good. Everything they do, they do well. Always a nice selection. The calamari is my absolute favorite (and we've tried a lot). The cocktails, entrees and service are spot on. And the crème brulee' is pure perfection!
Best craft cocktail I have had in a very long time. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. I will definitely be back soon.
The charcuterie board was nice. EXCEPT the gouda was about 30% rind which was inedible. Even worse I asked the server to be sure that this doesn't happen (because you did this to me last time). And it happened again. Look, don't serve little chips of cheese if they aren't all edible. If it were a wedge with obvious rind, I could avoid it and wouldn't complain.
LOVE the new menu additions. Best chicken dish you ever had. And Philly egg rolls were delicious.
Too noisy. My wife and I will not be coming back because there are equivalent restaurants in the area that are much quieter. Food was fine, server was attentive, but I cannot understand the current rage to equate decibels with “energy”.
