My family and I are huge fans of el diablo and get it at least once a week! The food is great and usually the employees are so nice. But yesterday at our most recent visit, I was astonished by the behavior of the one employee taking our order by the hot bar. I asked for her name by another employee and they said it was Marie. She was new and her attitude was completely unprofessional and she was very aggressive. Not only did I notice the behavior but my boyfriend and the customer behind us noticed the way she was acting towards us. She was slamming stuff around, raising her voice, and being very aggressive when I was trying to order. She wouldn’t give me a moment to think when I was ordering my mom’s take out order. I also have trouble hearing in my one ear and she seemed very agitated when she had to repeat herself a couple times. I started crying when we were paying because of how flustered I was. I just have never been treated like that in the restaurant industry and hope I don’t have to come in contact with her again. The manager was SO amazing and made sure to give us a gift card for what we endured during our visit. She was kind, sweet, empathetic, and felt so bad that we had to go through that. The rest of the employees were amazing as well. I usually never give negative reviews especially with a restaurant we go to so often, but this was unacceptable.
