Fav taco place… great family place but my favorite is to go to the bar, order carne asada tacos and jalapeño margarita. Service is great!

This place was the best place since I’ve been to Wilmington however, your service has gotten worse. They never answer the phone for you to order ahead and when you get to the restaurant, they tell you that you have to wait 30 minutes for an order of nachos as they are super busy Will not be recommending this place

It was our first time visiting El Maya and it didn't disappoint. The atmosphere was welcoming and bright. The service was friendly and the food was reasonably priced and delicious. I highly recommend you give it a try

Great food with great prices! Our go-to restaurant. Must try the chicken tortilla soup- the flavor is amazing. My girls love the enchiladas and the fajitas are delicious with left overs for lunch.

We went here after a family funeral. Apparently, they didn't know we were coming. It was the early afternoon and there were not that many people in the restaurant. The staff quickly set us up in a large room and accommodated everyone. A couple of people with us came after our food order went in. Their food came out at the same time ours did. The food was wonderful. Our waitress pulled help to bring out the food all at the same time. My cousin, Chip, had his a few minutes later than us. It was pretty amazing that only one person was delayed. The kitchen got slammed with 25 orders and only had a minor hiccup. Did I mention the food was delicious? I brought my appetite and was very satisfied. I seldom go to Delaware but it is worth the drive.

I liked the atmosphere 👌 very comforting and traditional Mexican music in the background, the presentation of the food and drinks 10 of 10 everything was almost perfect but I sensed the waiter(men bartender i think so) needs to be a little bit more friendly, I mean more happy IMHO, the Margarita coco loco was good very delicious 😋 outstanding as the molcajete food..the price is very reasonable...good job guy's!😀

Great experience as always! Check out the lunch specials they have every week M-F 11 to 2:30 pm I believe. Each day has a different specialty. Also nice bar and fresh chips and salsa
