I’ve been coming here for over 20 years maybe longer. This is my most favorite restaurant around. I have never had a bad meal here & the atmosphere is relaxing. Owner is truly dedicated to her business.
Everything!!! Quality is fresh. Everyone is awesome, great service. Thank you !!!
Good food , service impeccable! Friendly staff. Only complaint is they need a larger bar area!
I have always loved this place! The food is excellent. Great service and very nice people working there.
Muscles appetizer was very good. Wine selection good. My husband's fish was quite disappointing. Seemed like quality ingredients but the simplicity demands more from execution. Service was mediocre (not acceptable for the price).
I constantly come buying some food in here. I loved the quick service and well prepared dishes. Kudos.
My wife and I went here for a celebration dinner and we must say we were both highly disappointed. The Staff was very friendly and nice , but the food itself was very tasteless and no seasoning could be detected. My fish was supposed to be grilled but looked like it was boiled in butter. Microwave vegetables I steam at home in a bag would have been so much better than the stuff they put on my plate. Also, here's a suggestion. When you serve appetizers , try serving two people at the same time. Our apps were served about ten minutes apart from each other and my app came out seconds before my so called dinner.
When my dinner party was seated, we were given the "stink eye" by a few other patrons that were already seated. The dinner rolls/ bread was freshly baked and were excellent. I ordered Shrimp Scampi and I was expecting a white garlic sauce over the pasta but it was an Olive Oil and garlic butter. It was a pond of oil underneath and I could not eat it.
Everything here is amazing!!! My faves are the blackened crab cake or scallops with lump crab meat. The fried lobster appetizer is soooo goood!! Great orange crushes to wash it all down. I'd eat here everyday if I could!
Love the people, love the food and love the prices. Go on a Friday and bring your appetite for some fabulous fresh oysters from Hog Island.
I went to the Seafood Market side and what a selection! Salmon, monkfish, tilapia, bluefish, trout, crab, shrimp, oysters, all your favorites and more! Everything was clean and nice, fresh and no fishy odors! The customer service was fantastic, friendly and helpful. I have yet to try the restaurant side but I wouldn't hesitate and I will be bringing my family back to sample the delicious looking food. What a wonderful find for me and what must be a local favorite judging by the parking lot and almost 50 years in existence!
What a gem of a place! We got the shrimp le Jon as an appetizer. It was delicious! I had the crab soup and crab imperial. The crab imperial was the best I've ever had! Would def go again and again and again!!!
Hubby and I really enjoyed this establishment. The service was on point. Once the food came out...I was in heaven.
The food is average, the service is average the atmosphere is average. What kind of place reserves all the bar seats for dinner people? You can barely get a drink from a bar with open seats that can't be used. Really dumb set up. I say avoid this place because it is just average and dealing With the whole every bar seat is reserved is just a pain. Go to Big Fish, bigger more engaging bar. Same price point but has MUCH better happy hour fare and the food was very good and better portioned.
The Lamb meal was good a little fatty. The crab cakes meal was good. Try some more seasoning on the meals. For the price of your meal you would expect a house salad beside rolls. Check silverware maybe dirty and the table was sticky. Fatty meat is not okay. So once is enough definitely not the top for the $$.
I eat here frequently all the fresh fish is great, I must admit My favorite is the grouper! It tends to get busy so reservations are preferred!
Went on Thursday was pleasantly surprised it was all you can eat Dungeness night. We thought the restaurant closed later and was seated talking. No one rushed us out or made us feel uncomfortable. Apologies and we will definitely return .
the Dungeness crab legs smelled like ammonia. After my table of 4 complaining. The table of 5 that entered, complained about the same. The manager Todd spoke with us rudely! and told the table of 5, monkey see, monkey do but gave them their food free! After we were made aware of this, he then gave us our food at no cost also. We were there in memory of my sister bc this was her favorite restaurant and she passed away a week ago. We will never eat at this restaurant again!!!
First and last time here. Went for all you can eat crab legs. First Bach was cold but that's ok the other 2 was hot. BUT the last 2 was nasty had an ammonia smell and had an horrible taste. The person. That was with me along with another table. Had the same issues. The manager at the time made a comment that SHOULD NOT been made. When we said it had a bad smell. The manager stated. It dont mean it taste like it. He ALSO made us feel like he was calling us a liar. Due to another "Table had the same issue." He also did not apologize untill another. Table said he should. If definitely was not a good first experience. I will travel the 1 1/2 down state for the same thing and you get unlimited sides as well. The lady who waited us and the bus boy were awsome!!! They deserve a shout out!!!!! FYI saying "Is monkey see monkey do" was inappropriate. He found it odd that two tables had the same issue.
Repeat customer Seafood is ALWAYS. Fresh and served properly. The presentation is important to us as well as the taste Been here over 15 times and will return again and again The optimum word is consistent quality And a great staff. Make reservations I drive 40 miles and pay a toll to eat here! You will not be disappointed
Great all around dinner experience.
I enjoyed the fried clams here, something that's not easy to find. Their mixed winter vegetables were also outstanding. Cozy and comfortable.
Great place also very nice atmosphere the people is magnificent
Affordable, convenient, delicious-- pretty good combination! The staff was overloaded but did their best. When will this place get rid of toxic styrofoam for leftovers???? We would return for another delicious meal. Check it out!
Nice, Cozy atmosphere. Food is delicious. A great place to have a Nice time with friends.
Great food. Great customer service. Especially loved the spinach salad and spicy mussels.
loved it, food was great, service was fantastic,
Good seafood and amazing ciopinno. Service was good on Monday, waitress was very attentive. Key lime pie was delicious and the lemon mascarpone cake was to die for ( love anything lemon)
Excellent seafood restaurant with adjoining seafood shop next door. Great selection of fresh fish. Looking forward to returning for another great dinner!
We always forget about this non-pretentious place around the corner from us. Yes, it is a little rough around the edges, but the food is consistently decent. Salads are fresh and cold. Dinner plates are piping hot and the selection of fish is abundant and fresh.
Omg! Visiting from NY Outstanding ! We couldn't eat everything on the menu but if we could we would ! Have to come back ! What else can I say , Bravo !!
Deserves NO STARS! Went there with my father for lunch a while ago and had the worst experience of my life. He is handicapped and uses crutches to get around. When he was coming out of the bathroom someone had mopped the floor with a dirty mop and the floor was all greasy and my father's crutches started coming out from under him. The Man in charge (having a meeting Next to him) completely ignored him in distress so another customer and I had to run over before he fell. Then, when we were leaving, there was a fancy car blocking the exit. When I complained, the hostess told me I should just take him out through the back door (like cattle!) I will NEVER step foot in this place again! HORRIBLE TO THE DISABLED!!
I ate a halibut with sweet potato fries. The food was very good and the waitress was extremely nice. I would eat there again.
Nicely and cleanly decorated in nautical theme per their description. The service staff were fast, friendly, and entirely on top of everything. Never had an empty drink here! I had the crab imperial which was absolutely delicious! Overall, a great place to get seafood!
If you love seafood and oysters you should try Feby's. Always a great selection of both, prepared just right. Plus a nice bar are for before and after dinner drinks, and free off street parking.
Great food. Professional and pleasant staff, ambiance nice, clean kitchen and bathroom.
Great seafood. Another good mom and pop restaurant. If you’re in the Wilmington area this is a very good seafood restaurant with great service great selection of fish.
Wife and I went after the Eagles game on Sunday for her birthday. Place was fairly empty as we arrived but by the time we left it was full but no waiting line. This is fresh seafood they have their own fish market attached to the restaurant. I had a swordfish special over rice pilaf and green beans and wife had Clam bake with a side of fries which she raved about all evening. Especially the fries of which I sampled a few. They are quiet good with a slight crunchy outer and pillowy soft inner potato. Also tried a fried green tomato app. which we shared and was small but tasty. All our entrees were fresh and tasty and service was attentive by Amy. If you like a little spice in your meal as I do, try their vidalia onion hot sauce, in a bottle in your table condiment rack. I really went for the fisherman's stew (Choppino) as I really like the commingling of flavors in the broth, but went for the swordfish special and was very satisfied with that selection. Very nice portions on the entrees also.
Great servers, very fresh fish/seafood. Gigantic portions. Suggest you make a reservation, this place is well known for good reason.
I visited Feby's for lunch earlier this week. It was highly recommended by several people who worked at the car dealership down the street. I ordered the stuffed shrimp and my husband had the lunch special lobster roll. My stuffed shrimp was okay (two shrimp with a decent amount of crab). It was a little difficult to eat because of the dish it was prepared in. My husband wasn't that fond of his lobster roll. He's had better with more generous pieces of lobster. Overall, lunch was good. I'd go back again.
