This is easily my favorite Vegan restaurant in Delaware. The food was so fantastic every time we had the opportunity to visit town. And the owner (and chef) treated everyone so well. I was surprised to find out the place is closed now, but I hope it's a temporary thing. I will definitely frequent it again if the owner reopens!
Food is always so good ! If you’re looking for vegan alternatives for traditional American faves , this is the place ! I get the loaded fries & broad street bully ( mushroom cheese steak ) . Never disappoints . The staff is always really friendly. I forget his name but the young gentlemen who works the front is always pleasant .
Vegetarian options: Everything
Shout outs to my Go Vegan Philly team. Everything was delicious. I enjoyed myself. They do have events there at night which looks like fun. The staff was very friendly and polite and was given all good vibes. Much love to all.
The food was delicious. Good portion size.
First off the vibe is a1 the service was phenomenal! The owner was very nice and the server Zion was so helpful with helping me make a choice. This was my first time trying vegan food and I must say the price was more reasonable than a lot of places I’ve seen online .The food was absolutely amazing. Strongly recommend eating here! 10/10 across the board!
I had the broad street bully with mushrooms only. The dish came with a side of French fries which were crispy and delicious. The mushroom steak was good. Nothing to different from what I am use to having. I rated the restaurant a four because I can only speak to what I ate on the menu. Service was on point.
What an amazing first time at Go Vegan Philly thanks to the owner Shaun and the yummy food. I highly recommend!! To start I got the Philly cheesesteak eggless rolls followed by the Phyllis Hyman for my entree. 2 jackfruit/hearts of palm ‘crab’ cakes, collard greens, mac & cheese, and corn bread. My soul was so happy after that meal. I will definitely be back. Thank you Shaun for making me feel at home in your restaurant (:
1st time here. I found street parking (free) easily. Indoor seating available. Nice space. Friendly service. I started with their Philadelphia International crispy cauliflower bites - and yes they are crispy. I had mine with the mango habanero sauce and it was delicious. I also had onion rings. They were good - basic - nothing special - but good all the same. I moved onto their Teddy P which is a plate of fried oyster mushrooms that were crispy and wonderful. I would like to have had a dipping sauce with it. Cornbread was tasty. Mac and cheese was one of the best I've had. The asparagus was also very good. They have a small fridge with juice and dessert. When I was there, they had 1 option for dessert (I didn't get it). I enjoyed my meal and am looking forward to coming back. Updated from previous review on 2023-03-23
It was my first time dining here tonight. Our waitress said she was new, but she did a phenomenal job! The service was great. The employees were friendly and welcoming. The food came out quickly. It was so delicious! We got the cheesesteak eggless rolls, spring rolls, cornbread, fries, Mac and cheese, cauliflower wings, and strawberry lemonade. We loved it all! Even though it was comfort food, it didn't feel unhealthy at all. It wasn't all greasy or oily either which is exactly what I was looking for. I brought home leftovers, and gave some to my non-vegan mom. She was very impressed! We will definitely be back very soon. Thank you for having us!
My boyfriend and I loved this place! The service we got was amazing. Very nice staff. The cheesesteak was incredible it's so hard to find a good vegan cheesesteak and this place has an amazing one. 10/10 would go back again

Overall the food was decent, very healthy portions which is nice, some of it was slightly salty. I would probably not recommend the Mac and cheese, didn't really have much flavor besides from pepper. The other two dishes I had were good, although the sandwich had a lot of "mayo" which overpowered the dish. The service was lacking to say the least, generally the employees were either on their phones or watching TV instead of checking in with us, everyone was nice just not paying full attention.
This place is ?! Vegan soul food at its finest. Delighted to see the portions were huge and filling. Flavors are top notch. We went here for lunch and were barely hungry for dinner. I don't know how they make their cornbread and fries but both are heavenly. The staff is also super friendly. Will definitely be back next time we are in Wilmington.
I wanted to love this place, as it's fully vegan and a small business but, the menu left me hungry. As a gluten-free vegan (due to a health issues), menus can be tricky. This virtual-only menu (which makes ordering more difficult but, I the cost of printed menus has been greatly effected by inflation) doesn't include ingredients and doesn't offer ANY gluten-free meals. I was left choosing between juice, customizing a pricey bowl of lettuce and quinoa or going hungry. I chose the latter while my husband and kids ate. The sounds coming from their full mouths indicated that they were all well-pleased with the taste and quantity of their meals. Owner made an appearance to check on us and answer questions. Sauces are all homemade which was a HUGE deal for us and you can grasp his passion and genuine interest in providing great vegan food and excellent service. This place is a true gem in the area and I look forward to returning if I get cleared to eat gluten again!
The food was delicious. Fresh fruit drinks . This is a BYOB establishment. The young owner spoke with us and took a picture with me. He expressed his desire to open another restaurant in the DMV/DC area.Their impossible burger tastes like the real meat.Highly recommend.
Vegetarian options: Their cheese steak tasted like real meat. Fries are nice and crunchy
I love this place, and whenever I take people here, they love it too. Sean and his family are super friendly and welcoming. The Phillis Wyman is fantastic. Don't overlook the sides. The cabbage is delicious. The asparagus is consistently a winner. Cornbread too. Be prepared for really big portions.
