Govato’s may be good but the last 3 times I went there before 2:30p (what the lady on the phone and sign on their door indicates are their summer hours) it’s been CLOSED. Annoying. I understand needing more help but the least they could do is update their website every day to reflect what their hours are going to be. *sigh* I wish I knew of another good chocolate place to frequent.

overpriced! the quality is OK but OK at best a ridiculous peanut butter egg for $21.00 you should be ashamed. and attendants that are 300 years old, they're not paying young people. I'll NEVER BUY THERE AGAIN

Besides the mask request, I really liked the place. I won't hold it against them as they are older and didn't wanna be sick for the holidays. Can't say the mask really works, but hey, your chocolates are pretty good.

The candy is great, no one is better, however, they are still making people wear masks ??? The last place in Delaware still wearing masks, not even in doctor's office do you need a mask. The owner appears to be an Anthony Fauci want to be!!! Everyone now knows masks DO NOT WORK, THEY NEVER DID WORK, THEY NEVER WILL WORK. Also inflation for the past year has been 7.9%, their prices have gone up about 40% . This shows as you go in the store around holidays, it used to be jam packed, when I was there there were 3 people in the store a week before Easter. Needless to say I will never go back and they can take their masks and shove them where the Sun doesn't shime.

Your clerk told us that fauci said there’s another variant coming out and shoo’ed us away? lol you’re the only store that is making people wear masks around here and it’s only hurting your business. I was going to spend over $100 in your store. This was a child hood memory and I’m never coming back. Best of luck with your store-the parking lot was empty. Wonder why ? ?

I just attempted to shop at Govatos. I was denied entry because of a Covid capacity restriction. I happily complied and waited on the sidewalk. I then watched as 2 other customers entered the store and were not turned away. I have left. I will not be buying my Easter, or any other holiday, candy from you.

Truly is the best candy store in Delaware! The homemade artisan chocolates are the best in the state!!! The smell of chocolate hits you the moment you walk in. Phenomenal homemade chocolate marshmallows, pretzels, cherries and caramels!!! Reasonably priced with deals. Must try one of they’re from scratch caramel apples in the Fall!!! Everything is fresh and delicious!!! A Delawarean treasure!!
