The outdoor, upper deck was a mess! crayons, food, straw wrappers on the floor. Tables left uncleared for a long time as the one (apparently) busser couldn't do everything very fast; (If he had used trays, he could have been much quicker.) Get a beer and order some food at the bar and forget about eating a nice meal. We won't be back.
Wife I both had large salads which were very good, served quickly at the bar. I really like their Pumpkin Ale. We sat at the bar,.good service wotj constant attention without being pushy. Good times. Thank you.
I have three friends from PA, NJ, and MD that meet me here every few months. Love the place, the food, the service, and of course, the sweet potato appetizers! You never rush us to leave!! Our server was sweet and we loved her elephants earrings!
Had a very nice dinner at the Iron Hill Brewery. Sat upstairs outside, which is nice, especially if you can get by the railing on the Riverwalk side, which we did. It was a Monday night, the crowd was light. The food was excellent, as was the service. And it was quiet enough to talk with each other. All good!
Restaurant was not overly busy. Food took a long time to be delivered. The prime rib was tough and served cold. My granddaughter asked for her salad dressing to be served on the side. It wasn't. Not a good experience.
Food wasn't great - service was ok. Good to see they have brunch items on the menu but one dish came out with scrambled eggs instead of poached eggs.
We had apps, a salad, dessert, wine and coffee. Waitstaff was very busy (seemed a little short-staffed) but our waitperson was great and checked in with us frequently. Only very good ambiance because it was quite chilly from the air conditioning. Recommend bringing a jacket! Food was very good.
The hostess was very helpful with sitting us away from the bar and a few large parties. But, the server was hard pressed to check in with us. We asked for drink refills three times over a half hour. The third time it still took 10 minutes for them to arrive. Two of the entrees were wrong- one had fries instead of salad and the other was the dripping in the aioli we asked to be excluded. After the food was delivered, it took more than 5 minutes for the server to check in. It took another 15 minutes or so for the entree to be remade without the aioli (we let the missing salad go). Everyone else at the table had long since finished eating before the remake was delivered. Everytime someone scooted a chair to get up, sit down, or just adjust, there was this ungodly screeching noise. Same was true for servers rearranging tables. There was nothing in the space to absorb the sound. This was not the relaxing family dinner we were hoping for.
Love iron hill. It will always be the calamari, pub burger and an espresso martini for me. Delicious
We had the best waitress. She was attentive but also willing to let us just be. She was friendly and very helpful. Several times she checked on food allergy issues for me and was concerned about my safety eating. I would highly recommend Iron Hill for lunch. We had a really nice experience.

Iron Hill's crabcake sandwich is amazing, and service by Jessica was excellent. Only small detractor was the music was too loud for easy conversation at 11 in the morning.
It was not a busy night but the services was really poor. The food was “ok” . The nachos have been better at other times. I have been very disappointed with Iron Hill lately. There was a time when the first Friday was their appreciation night. They changed it. I wrote to management regarding this. No response. We have continued to come here once a month but everything has gone down hill.
We come to Iron Hill a lot when we want pub food. I always ask for a quiet table and usually they accommodate us. This time, however, we were given a table in the bar area. To say it was noisy would be an understatement. Next time, we'll ask for a table upstairs. The food was ok.
Server was pleasant enough but service overall was slow. Never got soda we ordered. Had to ask for request napkins/silverware after food arrived as none had been provided. Main issue was that I realized after getting home that our bill was incorrect and we were substantially overcharged. It was our fault for not double checking the bill while we were there but overall I would not want to return to this location.
As others have mentioned in the reviews I've heard really good things about this restaurant . I was excited about trying a restaurant on the river front. The food was horrible . We ordered the panko crusted shrimp and the sweet potatoe fries. We also ordered the gumbo . The fries were soggy , the shrimp was just “okay” and the gumbo has hard rice in the bottom . It tasted like plastic . The water they gave us was horrible , tasted like swamp water . The only good thing was the waiter . He offered to get us different water from the bar . Then when the restaurant didn't have the wine I wanted so he brought out different wines for us to try . He also tried to help with the gumbo by getting us a new bowl with different rice . Overall I wouldn't recommend this restaurant .
