Been going here for well over 5 years. Since about 2019. The service is always A1, the food is the bomb diggity and the prices are always reasonable. Whether you get take or dine in (do dine in the atmosphere and everything is worth it) you will have a great experience overall. The tacos are sooooo good they never missed, ever! Don’t even get me started on the drinks, again dine in is recommended. I have done both and 200%, I recommend this place 200% every time. Best tacos in Wilmington.

Must give credit where credit is due. First time here & we will be back! The meats we chose were al pastor, steak, cod fish & of course margaritas. The complementary salsa has something special to it that we just couldn’t put our fingers on. Highly recommend :-)

I come here (jalapeño grill) almost everyday, The food and drinks are amazing, but the actual service is terrible. I let it pass all the time but I repeat my orders to them multiple times because I know sometimes they either can’t understand me or the music is too loud. But my food is almost always wrong then when I ask for it to be corrected it’s always an issue and it leads to them getting smart. They never own up to their mistake and at the end of the day I’ve had to pay extra just to have the correct food made. After today they will no longer get my service.

Perhaps the best place for authentic tacos in Wilmington! Three different salsa's. Wonderful prices. Usually my last choice against steak or carnitas, the chicken taco is especially flavorful! Visit this place! They even have Taco Tuesday.

Shrimp tacos were good. The marinated pork ones I didn't care for too much. I believe the steam from the tacos being enclosed inside the aluminum foil, changed the texture of the corn tortilla making it more rubbery. Probably would've had a better experience with taste, and texure if we dined in. Beans, and rice were not my favorite either.

Delicious authentic Mexican food. I ordered the Bistec encebollado entree. The marinated steak was delicious. Possibly the best part of the meal was the smoky salsa served with the chips. I put it on everything! The traditional margaritas were a perfect compliment to my meal. Special mention to Gloria who served me and provided excellent advice and attention.

One of the main aspects of mexican food that I really enjoy is how fresh it is. Their food wasn’t at all. We got jalapeño queso and it was very obviously microwaved and the main flavor was just salty cheese rather than anything with jalapeño in it. Their green salsa is pretty good but their rice is very mediocre. I wish again that it wasn’t microwaved. I think they have a lot of potential if they actually put effort into serving the food rather than just microwaving it. Mind you there were only two other people besides us there, it wasn’t busy. Their service is good, but if the food wasn’t microwaved it would have been so much better.
