Jamestown Catering did a wonderful job catering a small luncheon for about 20 people. The salads were fresh with dressing on the side and the sandwiches warm upon arrival. They also provided equipment to keep the sides warm for serving and descriptor cards for the buffet for guests. I appreciated the extra touches and the on time/warm delivery. The food tasted good and was delivered on time. However I am extremely disappointed in the portions. Our group was not comprised with a majority of “big eaters.” I padded the number of portions ordering above actual attendees, counted children equivalent to adults and we still did not have enough food. When paying per person, my expectation is professionals will provide the appropriate amount of food for the guest count.
I had a group event at Penns Woods Winery and Jamestown did the catering. Everything was delicious and the experience went off without a hitch! I would recommend both the caterers and the venue anytime!
