The waitress was amazing but we had to wait two hours for our food. The food was good but we didn't leave until around 9pm...

I gave it 2 stars because of the bad customer service. This was my second and probably my last time going to Keem’s. First I do want to say the place is beautiful but the staff make the environment a negative experience. I visited on 3/21 a little after 2 pm. The staff didn’t greet me but instead just stared. It was my birthday and I went to enjoy some lunch and a drink like I planned for a week or so. I was excited to be there but that end up turning into a regret once I left. When I sat at the bar it took some time for a server to come over and when she did walk over she quickly hoped on the phone, passed me a menu and walked away. She took some time again to come back. When she did I order a ceasar salad with grilled salmon, cornbread and a alcoholic sweet drink. The drink was terrible. Not sweet at all, the salad must of had pork bacon or something in it because I was in the bathroom for 3 to 4 days after before my body got back right. I say that because I’m not a pork eater and never had any issue before eating a salad. Over all if the customer service wasn’t based off the waiters judging a book by its cover, I would return to try other dishes on a busy day. I say a busy day because it seem like that’s the days you’ll get top notch customer service. I still tipped the waiter nice but wish I would of put on the receipt to “be more kinder” so she could work on her customer service. Hopefully Keem’s management will talk to the workers about how important customer service is whether it’s a slow day or a busy day.

Lunch was good, I wish there were vegetarian and vegan options. I had Mac n cheese and the deviled eggs. My friend had grilled salmon with collards and yams. She enjoyed how the salmon was cooked must like she liked it. The drinks were really good 5☆ for them. I didn't know they didn't have a hostess, so we waited, then sat ourselves. When no one came to us, I went to the bar to ask if they can send someone over, I got a stink face from 2 young ladies. When a waitstaff did come, she was very lovely, wish I could remember her name.

I have been here before for brunch and had an excellent experience however I came here last Saturday with some family from out of town after attending a family funeral. It was only 1:00pm so we didn’t expect them to be busy. When we walked in they were busy at all it was about 20 people in there. I requested a table for 7 and the male host immediately became stressed or irritated and then asked if we had a reservation. I said no. He then said to give him a minute to see what he can do. He comes back and is snatching each menu from the counter and some of my family noticed his attitude and were confused. He then tried to seat us at a both where we would be eating overtop of eachother. My grandmother politely asked why they couldn’t put two tables together like the family sitting a little ways from us and he said cause we don’t have a reservation. MIND YOU THEY ARENT BUSY AT ALL. I’ve seen a Texas Roadhouse busier than that place and they will still find a way to seat you. We were never asked if we wanted to be put on a waiting list or anything because basically they said their reservations were booked for the day. Is this a reservation only restaurant?? If so PUT THAT ON YOUR WEBSITE. Second I have never been to a restaurant that didn’t take a walk in. I’ve been to Hell’s Kitchen and they even take walk ins at time but this is not a Hell’s Kitchen. The seafood spot that is fine dining in Wilmington even takes walk ins!! So please! So since they wouldn’t seat us comfortably my family and I left very upset because our family from out of town wanted to try the food and were excited! I then called and asked to speak to a manager and SHE told me that she instructed the host to not seat us or put 2 tables together because we didn’t have a reservation. The manager should be ASHAMED! Poor business and that’s ignorant to the owner. I’m sure he would be upset if he knew his MANAGEMENT turned down paying customers and they weren’t even packed or busy. A server could have used that great tip from a 7 top table. Lastly this also makes it hard to support your own people especially when you are treated so nasty for NO REASON! Just a family wanting to get food and drinks after a funeral! How sad but guess what big fish grill sat us immediately and gave great service.

I haven’t been to a 5 star place in a while. The food is great. Drinks are strong & it’s clean with an adult like laid back atmosphere. I had the rice and gravy with deep fried salmon; paired it with a Tokyo Tea made by the male bartender. He’s a pro 10/10 overall.

Beautiful atmosphere with both booths and tables. Extensive bar and food selections add to dining experience. The service was friendly, caring, and attentive. The food was delicious and fresh. The crowd was friendly and families are welcome. There's also a photo backdrop and a room for private parties. I thoroughly enjoyed my first experience at Keem's. I will definitely be back!

The service needs real work. No Silverware placement until we requested them from the waitress. My wife tea cup had chips on the rim of the cup. We asked about it and asked for replacement and she said all the cups were chip…what? The food was pretty good, but expensive. For example, I order a Cajun Caesar Salad and order additional shrimp and chicken. On top of the price for the original salad $12. They charged additional $14 for both for a total of $26….really! Most salad comes with one of these options without increased cost. Final issue, I order a Mango Margarita the waitress stated no Mango, but had two other options. I chose a fruit punch option she asked me did I want tequila with it….huh? Then I asked can I get it “frozen” she looked at me and said is that some sort of new drink? I said no frozen ice. She said we don’t have a blender, so I asked on the rocks. She brought me my drink with rocks either. At the end of the dinner cost of my drink was $20…wow again! They charged me for large party fee 20% we had a party of nine, but I was the only person to order a drink. On top of that they charged me $4 for the tequila, never heard of this, I’m in my 70’s. I did say the food was good, but that was it. Can not recommend Keem’s until they get their service model improved.
