It’s hard to find good peanut sauce, but Lassana’s peanut sauce with chicken was delicious! The attieke with fish was enjoyed by friends who had never tried West African food before and they loved it! We’ll definitely be back.
I was taken back at first because the address on line is not the physical address, then when I got there although the door says it take cards, they don’t. Once I unboxed my food I was pleasantly surprised. The smell alone had me, but then the taste got me all the way there. The food was delicious (cassava with white rice) and I will be back soon. Best I have had since moving to Delaware.
Food was old and not enough for the price ??

The fish fry was crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, complemented by tangy tartar sauce and fresh coleslaw. Highly recommended!

Food: lacking flavor, I was surprised and disappointed to see them warm everything in the microwave and in styrofoam.
The “jollof rice” tasted like Chinese fried rice
I have never felt so misled… false advertisement!
The cassava stew was okay but the rice was over heated in the microwave and ended up hard and crunchy
Overall food tasted like left overs
The chicken was okay nothing special.
Service: The girl was rude, the man had good customer service skills
Atmosphere: no active cooking… stove was not on
I will not eat from here again!

The Owner/worker is Beautiful and sweet. Great Customer service, the food is nasty! I went multiple times to give them a chance. I love African food! I think it’s because the way the reheat it in the microwave! The rice was hard the peanut soup was bland! I wish it was different because she is so sweet.

The food is not bad, however they determine price based on appearance. They also have a sign on the door that states “MASTERCARD, VISA, AMEX” accepted on the door but when you want to pay they try to tell you cash app or cash only. I went on 2 different occasions, months apart. The 1st time it was “only accepting cash app” the 2nd time “cash only, card machine broke”.

The staff was very friendly! I ordered the cassava leaf and asked them to make it extra spicy with rice and got the pepper sauce. I grew up eating African food and this place was just okay. It wasn't spicy at all and it lacked in flavor. I would not go back.

I live in Maryland closer to Baltimore and I drive over an hour to get food here. The Best Cassava & Chicken Ever ?It’s Definitely worth the drive and time.
Dietary restrictions: The palm oil in the Cassava be mindful
Parking: Busy store front business on one of the main roads in Wilmington Del.
