I work closeby to this restaurant and had been wanting to give them a try. I never had African food before and I was curious so after work was over on Thursday I stopped in to try a lamb shank with yellow rice. It was so good! The lamb fell off the bone smoothly and the yellow rice was flavorful. I was afraid the dish was going to be spicy but they put the spice in a small container on the side. Service was friendly and fast. The price came out $20, which was not bad at all. Next...
It’s hard to find good peanut sauce, but Lassana’s peanut sauce with chicken was delicious! The attieke with fish was enjoyed by friends who had never tried West African food before and they loved it! We’ll definitely be back.
I was taken back at first because the address on line is not the physical address, then when I got there although the door says it take cards, they don’t. Once I unboxed my food I was pleasantly surprised. The smell alone had me, but then the taste got me all the way there. The food was delicious (cassava with white rice) and I will be back soon. Best I have had since moving to Delaware.
