Ordered on the app. 3 PC white. Supposed to be 2 breasts 1 wing. They gave me 2 legs 1 thigh. Far cry from what I ordered. I had to eat it since my time was tight. What I did get tasted fine. Just totally incorrect pieces. You get 1 more chance. Plus, now I have to check order.

Life As Is

You have to go here when they first open. Anytime after 12pm service and food is horrible. No reason why I can go here at 11 to try the new wings & wedges and food was fresh & hot, wings were drenched in bbq sauce and the lady was pleasant. I go back at 8 & food was cold, Baja blast taste like warm flat juice and bbq sauce was little to none on the wings. Of course the service was awful.

I'll always get the Nashville Spicy chicken strips. They are great with a bowl of mashed potatoes and gravy. I'll take a bowl of corn and 2 biscuits as well. Of course since it's a family thing, I'll get a fake fresh squeezed lemonade too., regular size of course. At this point, I'll take a whole bucket of fried chicken! Got Spinach?

Employees at this kfc is a joke. I placed my my mobile order and shows it was ready. When I arrived, it wasn’t ready. And I waited 5 minutes, there’s 4 of them standing there joking and laughing and wasn’t doing anything. And I asked if my order was ready, and I don’t have time to wait. I got a reply saying you gotta have time.

Why is it so hard for KFC to get your order right. I asked for extra biscuits, no biscuits. They charge you but don't give you your complete order.

I am not exaggerating when I say this is my favorite place in Wilmington, Delaware. The staff are always responsive and friendly, the line is never long, and it's open til midnight (and doesn’t close early — you can order at 11:55 pm!) Unlike other fast food locations, I’ve never been handed the wrong order or randomly told that they can only take cash. Not once!

Growing up in Kentucky, I never viewed KFC as all that special, but when I moved to Delaware in February, I came here looking for something approximating familiarity, even if that just meant seeing the word “Kentucky” on the side of the cup. Since then, the constancy of this place has truly been a rock in life’s storm. I love the short or non-existent lines. I love that my order is always right. I love that no matter what time of day it is, the drive-thru voice box always launches into its automated “we're closed” recording before a live employee cuts in after a few seconds. I love that when they are consistently out of chicken sandwich filets after 11 pm, I can simply order my favorite Taco Bell combo instead! Everything about this place works *just* right. And with fast food, that’s all I could ever ask for.

Tonight, a little after 11 pm, when they’d run out of chicken sandwiches as they understandably do at that time, instead of switching to my preferred Taco Bell combo, I simply ordered a large Baja Blast and decided to hit up Wawa later. When I reached the window, the kind employee told me she’d charged my large drink as a medium as a courtesy because of their shortage. It was a sweet gesture — unnecessary and genuine. And it reminded me why this location is so special to me.
